We had a great stay. The apartment is modern, clean and in a great location. We really enjoyed being off the beaten track in a residential area. The marina near by is beautiful. Cees and Cathalijne were very welcoming and explained everything in person on arrival. There was good communication throughout. Because of the red weather alert we were lent a fan which helped to cope with the heat. Thanks again

Tout était parfait. Les hôtes sont agréables et serviables, le logement est décoré avec goût, tous les équipements nécessaires sont présents, les lits sont confortables et l’environnement est vraiment calme et paisible. Nous avons loué des vélos pour aller au Centre d’Amsterdam, nous y étions en 35 min. C’est aussi ça le charme de la visite de la ville, tout pouvoir faire en vélo. Je recommande vivement ce logement et je remercie Cathalijn et Cees pour leur accueil.

Our 3 night stay at Huis met de krul was so perfect :-) The apartment is situated in a residence area and it was quiet and relaxing compared to the hustling and bustling in Amsterdam City. The inhouse facilities are fantastic - beautiful interior designs, comfortable beds (1 double + 2 single beds), very nice bathroom facilities and a nice kitchen area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. Nearby (10 min walk) is The Harbour with cafés, restaurants and a super market. Our hosts, Cees and Cathalijne were so friendly and helpful - we really appreciate the effort they put into making us feel welcome - especially the warm, personal greeting, the detailed informations about the apartment and the area as well as snacks and refreshments upon arrival :-) Thank you so much for a wonderful stay - we will definitely be back :-)

Excellent stay at a good quiet location for cycleseeing

Easy to find due to the striking appearance. Cathalijne and Cees, the landlords, were always very quick to help. The flat itself is very nice and situated in a quiet area. We rented bikes so it was also very easy to then cycle to the east or cycle to city centre.

− The local area is currently under construction but that's out of the landlords control. It meant that it takes longer to reach the city centre where most tourist attractions are by tram although we used bikes so didn't face this as an issue. The local bike shop is closed on Sundays so we had to rent bikes from the centre.

We really enjoyed it but a very isolated area

Tout était parfait ! Nos hôtes adorables et très prévenants. L'appartement est très facile d'accès depuis l'autoroute. Le quartier (moderne) est à découvrir. En bord de plage et emplie d'une ambiance familiale très agréable. Amsterdam plage et Amsterdam ville à quelques minutes. Le rêve. L'accès aux transports en commun et aux commerces très facile. Appartement très très accueillant et agréable. Nous recommandons fortement ! Encore mille merci à cette adorable famille pour avoir contribué largement à la réussite de nos vacances !
