Ivan was really warm, accommodating and helpful as we arrived and received keys and instructions. We loved the Villa and garden and found it very peaceful. The area of Venice it is in is very quiet and having a sunny garden to sit in was a delight. The accommodation was clean and beautiful and had everything we needed.

-) Unkomplizierter Check-in: Ich habe vorab der Agentur per Mail geschrieben und mir wurde innerhalb weniger Stunden freundlich geantwortet und das weitere Vorgehen erläutert. Via WhatsApp hat sich dann jemand bei mir gemeldet und wir haben uns einen Zeit- und Standort vereinbart (direkt bei der Unterkunft). Freundlich, kompetent, unkompliziert, schnell - top. -) Lage: Wir haben uns in der Lage sehr sicher und wohl gefühlt. Es war eine sehr ruhige Gegend, wo man zu Fuß alles wunderbar erreichen kann (Supermarkt ist auch gleich um die Ecke). -) Unterkunft: Das Appartement war sehr komfortabel und sauber. Wir waren drei Personen uns hatten super Platz. Das Appartement kann fast schon als Reihenhäuschen bezeichnet werden. Durch eine Sackgasse gelangt man zunächst durch ein Haus in die Anlage. Vor der Tür hat man sogar noch eine kleine Balkongarnitur. Was uns auch positiv aufgefallen ist, ist dass man bei der Ankunft noch drei kleine Wasserflaschen im Kühlschrank vorfindet. ... rundum war eigentlich kaum was zu kritisieren. Top Unterkunft!

− Dies soll nicht unbedingt als Kritik aufgefasst werden, aber als Feedback für die Gastgeber, FALLS man noch etwas verbessern könnte: -) Die Kopfkissen waren wirklich schlimm. Hier könnte man noch zusätzliche in der Unterkunft deponieren, die nicht so extrem hart sind. -) Das "Kinderzimmer" wirkt etwas beengt, da nur ein Dachfenster ist. Hier wirkte es auf dem Foto heller. Aber ansonsten wirklich ein schönes Zimmer.

Logement très bien équipé, très propre et très bien décoré. Les chambres et la literie très confortables. Les salles de douche et la cuisine très récentes. Lumineux même si la salle de séjour est petite et en rez-de-chaussée de jardin. Aucun problème de sécurité. Un petit bout de jardin pour prendre le café. Très bien placé à 2 km de la place San Marco ce qui permet d'y aller à pied ou en vaporetto ( à 10 mn de marche) et de rentrer dans la journée pour se reposer ou dejeuner. Un supermarché se trouve tout près. Aucun bruit. Location à recommander vivement.

Great option in a quite place

Located in my favourite area of Venice - quite non-touristy streets, but close to vibrant Fondamenta dei Ormesini. The house itself is in the courtyard of other buildings, so it is very calm - you can enjoy sitting in the fresh air next to your apartment entrance. The 2-storey apartment is excellent - modern, fresh, and cosy with bathrooms / toilets on each floor. Bedrooms were nice and comfortable (both are on the upper floor, so you can easily enjoy the kitchen / living room on the ground floor when for example kids are already in bed). There were some bottles of complimentary water in the fridge - small thing, but I personally always value it. I really enjoyed the time in the apartment! I did not really cook this time, but kitchen seemed to be well equipped. A big supermarket is in a 5 min walk. The property manager / host was very friendly.

− Lot's of text in this section, but I still give a high rating despite things mentioned below: 1. Hand over of keys in a personal meeting only. The usual self check-in which is more common in Venice nowadays would have been more comfortable. So you really need to make an appointment at exact time to pick the keys. I must say, however, that the host was very kind to reschedule mine when I was running late, so eventually it worked good. 2. You need to sign a rental contract. This is in my view very weird and even though it is 2-3 pages long, you still need time to read it (never sign anything without reading). When you stay 1, 2 or 3 nights this is definitely not what I prefer to do. In my 20+ trips to Venice this is the first time that I was asked to sign a rental agreement. 3. You need to provide your full credit card details in the contract as a guarantee / security for any potential damages (you leave the apartment alone and simply leave the keys on the table) 4. Heating system is far from intuitive (even though you have a digital manual for termostat adjustments), but somehow we managed on the second night. This was also mentioned by other reviewers who struggled to make the apartment warm. In the warm season I guess it is easier with A/Cs.
