Great location to stay in Istanbul

What a beautiful and cozy place to stay in Istanbul . I just loved the flat . Clean, great facilities, modern little space . I felt I was at my own flat . I will stay there again for sure

− I flew into Istanbul the day of my friends wedding and expected to be checked in by 3pm on August 8th. The owner messaged me the day before my arrival and asked me to switch to a different apartment that he also managed. His reason was that the listing I had chosen had some issues that needed to be fixed. I initially refused to change to a different location because it was too far from my friend’s wedding. However, it was too late for me to do more research and find an alternative. Eventually i accepted the apartment that was further away. The issues started from the moment i arrived to check in my bags at 10am. The landlord had directed me to contact the cleaner for the apartment to hold the baggage. When i met with the cleaner, he took my bags and said to return at 3pm after the apartment was cleaned. When i returned at 2:45, i find the luggage out in the hallway outside the apartment door. I rang the doorbell and l knocked and called the cleaner with no answr. Finally i contacted the landlord right after this, a woman opened the door to the apartment from the inside. Behind ber was the cleaner man pulling on his shirt. The apartment common area was not clean, and the bedroom with the single bed was stripped of the sheets. The cleaner said he needed another hour to clean up the aparmtnet and get the second bedroom with the 2 twin beds ready. I let the cleaner and the woman with him who was translating know i do not have time because i had a wedding at 7pm. And i was expecting go have home to rest in my apartment. Since the bathroom was clean, we agreed to allow the cleaner to get the apertment cleaned while we simultaneously got ready in a different area of the alermtent. After an hour, the cleaner and the woman were going to leave without putting fresh sheets on the single bed. The woman pushed back and said the room with the twin beds was ready so we had no need for the single bed. I told her no and that i needed the room to be made up.

The host is very welcoming and helpfull. The location is excellent with a multitude of shops within walking distance. The apartment have great cooking facilities.
