De todo el espacio lo que más disfrute fue la cama porque es amplia.

− Subir por las escaleras que son pequeñitas y el techo reducido. Fue muy complicado subir y bajar mi carry on. Algún electrodoméstico ya tiene sarro.

− Wejście na 4 piętro w tak ciasnej klatce schodowej było bardzo uciążliwe.

pleasant, well located small apartment with terrace up quite some stairs

This is a perfectly pleasant small apartment on the top floor of a relatively old building - left and right modernised ones are sprouting up, one can see that the area is up and coming and there are a wealth of hipster cafes and restaurants just around the corner and easy access to the beach. The terrace is indeed an asset for those who love the sun and there is a generous amount of furniture on the terrace (small table with 2 chairs, 2 sunbeds plus two armchairs).

− This is clearly a loft conversion (nothing wrong with that of course), however, you can hear the neighbour's every move. It's up three flights of very narrow stairs (that was advertised but the stairs are so narrow that you need to carry your luggage either in front of you or behind you, I had a suitcase, that was a mistake). Bathroom and kitchen are tiny (and I mean tiny), if you are obese you will struggle. The wardrobe has a rather odd partition (you can hang two coats or 5 shirts and everything else needs to be folded). The terrace has a bird shit problem, whilst there is not much the landlord can do it might be worth thinking about providing a cover for the table and chairs? (or at least some gloves and utensils to clean?)

Quirky rustic charm, but with some issues

Amazing private patio overlooking the street where you can hear all the activity from nearby Rambla de Poblenou, fun authentic rustic beach house vibe. Many things that you wouldn't put up with at a hotel are normal for this kind of quirky authentic old style Spanish home, and part of its charm. After the first few times, the stairs get easier as you get used to it. Great location, around the corner from Rambla de Poblenou.

− Unfortunately, I have to deduct a point for the following: Very steep narrow stairs that are barely wide enough for a carry-on suitcase with inconsistent sized steps, some much narrower than normal adult feet as shown in my photos, so are a bit scary, AC dripped randomly a significant amount of water making a puddle near the bed , extremely loud construction noise next door from demolition each morning. You hear lots of drilling and hammering of cement, and falling concrete, plus workers talking loudly. Sometimes so loud, it hurts your ears. I know this is temporary and not the listing's fault but it doesn't seem like new construction that just started, and seems to be an ongoing renovation, and there should be a construction warning to guests during this period. I am being nice and not taking off another point as I know the accommodation has limited control over this. Finally, while I understand the rustic, imperfect look is part of the appeal of this type of housing, there's a big brown stain over the bed that seems like previous water damage, and should be painted over.
