9.0The outdoor patio and views of the canal and town were lovely. Lots of space. The bedroom is huge! Loved the history of the building and the giant wooden beams and wondered how they got all the big pieces of furniture up there! Quiet away from the tourists when they returned to Venice.
− The shower was a little awkward, but we knew this from other people's comments. There could have been more items in the kitchen, like bowls and a cutting board. More than 50 stairs to carry luggage up, but not so bad.

Amazing stylish place with a view on Venice from another angle
10.0Everything was amazing! Starting from the location - close to several stops of vaporetto (maritime transport), that was convenient, as we could take several lines instead of sticking to only one. The view from the apartment was astonishing! Indeed, gave us a possibility to imagine us living here, at least for a bit ;) The place has also a big balcony, for views, breakfast tea or a glass of wine. The apartment appeared to be bigger than I've expected: there are several floors, which were only ours, and the room was really big. The building by itself is beautiful, old, atmospheric, I've enjoyed it every time going in and out. Both the building and the apartment are decorated with style and soul Kitchen was equipped for tea, coffee, cooking, etc. There are plenty of sockets in the room. Wifi is good. The bed has a mosquito protective net (saved us!). The host was really welcoming and super friendly! If you want to have a great time in Venice and see it from another angle than the main island - that's the place!
− you can't make perfect even better! Be ready for stairs! For us that was not a problem at all, but if you have huge luggage - might be.
Lovely but a bit old timey
7.0The location is lovely, the building is wonderful, the apartment is spacious and has everything one needs. The decor is a bit stuffy and old timey in the kitchen area though, a kind of 1970s "a lonely old man used to live here" vibe.
