Spectacular views of the canals and a very comfortable stay

Despite the house's central location, it's a very quiet and comfortable place. Everything I needed was within easy reach, and the views from the windows are fantastic. It was very easy to find, with several tram stops nearby, especially two from Central Station, so I quickly reached the house, dropped off my bags, and spent the evening strolling through the most exciting tourist spots in Amsterdam, which are literally a 15-minute walk away. The stairs are quite steep, but not as steep as those in a typical Dutch house, like the ones I used in Rotterdam, so despite my age, it was comfortable for me. I left my heaviest suitcase downstairs with the host's permission. She was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and despite the hot weather, a cool, fresh breeze from the large canal ensured a comfortable night. I didn't even use the air conditioning and slept well after a tiring and stressful day. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the bathroom and toilet are clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The kitchen had everything I needed to make a hot breakfast, and I had a wonderful breakfast by the open window with a breathtaking view of the canals and passing boats. I'm very grateful to the hostess, Veronika, for the warm, friendly welcome and cozy home.

− The rooms are located on the top floor of the house, which is high and not a quick climb, especially with a heavy suitcase, but this is compensated by the silence and breathtaking views from the windows.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment with an amazing view. Highly recommended!

The apartment is compact, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Its location is excellent, city center, and the view is truly fantastic over the canal.

− It was extremely hot weather and no air conditioning. There are very narrow stairs to go up. Otherwise everything is excellent

This apartment was great for me and my three friends. The stairs are steep as mentioned in the other reviews however, this did not bother us. The actual apartment was lovely and is in an ideal location for exploring Amsterdam while also being lovely and quite at night. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the view is amazing! The hosts where also lovely and even sent us back our toothbrush that we accidently left free of charge back to the UK. Would 100% recommend!

Nothing. In my country this is a serious misrepresentation. Intent to deceive. And that is why the host says no refund. This is a scam!

− The kitchen was too tiny to actually be useful; microwave, zero closet space, 6 inches of depth on one end and the rest filled with vacuum cleaner and cleaning materials with no room for guests,hot, noisy, couldnt get in the front door because blocked by host’s baby carriage AND baby stroller, but the biggest deal breaker was the $700 a day rate, the implication it was spacious, and most of all the EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SPIRAL STAIRCASE, i am 67, my guest was 67. We stayed two hours until i could book a hotel. That level of danger is ridiculous to not disclose with photo. Calling it a steep staircase is misleading. Yes it was VERY STEEP, it was also a spiral staircase with narrow triangular steps and The handrail was on one side only and a poor handrail, no handrail on the otherside. At the top, 4th floor, you have to reach for a vertical bar so you dont fall to certain major injury. The place is photographes to intentionally hide all these issues. This is fraud in my country.
