Very good location. Everything you need is nearby, but a quiet place. Overall, I am very happy with the apartment. The owner was very kind and allowed me to leave my luggage on the day of departure.

− There were some difficulties with the watering can of the shower. And there's not much light from the windows in the back rooms, but maybe that's a plus in summer.

Toller ruhiger Standort inmitten des quirligen Viertels rund um den Galata Turm!

Super Erreichbarkeit des Vermieters & Perfekte ruhige (!) Lage im quirligen Viertel rund um den Galata Turm. Es liegt in einer Sackgasse (ohne Verkehr!) und hat ums Eck sehr nette & sehr gute (Frühstücks)Lokale, sowie tolle Vintage Geschäfte & Artgaleries! Alle Highlights in Istanbul sind auch fußläufig innerhalb 25-40 Minuten Spaziergang erreichbar. Wundervolle Ausgangsposition! Sehr gut funktioniert hat die Erreichbarkeit des Vermieters per WhatsApp! Allen Beschwerden wurde sofort nachgegangen, nach Kontaktaufnahme per WhatsApp.

− Leider hat bei unseren beiden (!) gebuchten Apartments abwechselnd die Heizung/ Warmwasser nicht funktioniert. Die eine Wohnung war zudem sehr schlampig geputzt und es waren noch Essensreste der Vormieter in mehreren Schränken. Die Dusche ist sehr schimmlig und offensichtlich nicht mehr sauber zu bekommen, die Duschtüren schwer zu bedienen (Ap.Nr.3).

Great location for Beyoglu / Cihangir / Galata-stays - has it all

Unbeatable location for fans of Beyoglu / Cihangir / Galata distict tucked away in a small dead-end sidestreet with no significant traffic. The apartment overlooked the Bosphorus and offered a view of the strait from the balcony. Fully equipped and suitable for longer stays including with dish washer and washing machine. Very easy to get too and from since it's just around the corner from Sishane metro station that connects to Istanbul airport via Gayreteppe. Host was very communicative and was able to help out on short notice when I had trouble unlocking the door and needed extra towels to clean up after a rainwater incident.

− Unfortunately, the mixer faucet in the shower fluctuated wildly with temperatures going from too cold to scalding hot at the same setting. After around 10 minutes of letting the water run I was able to find a very narrow "sweet spot" where it was possible to take a shower with some comfort. However, this exercise had to be repeated every time I took a shower. The property sent over a man to take a look at it but he brought no tools and spoke very little English so the outcome was not successful. I suspect the apartment still presents the same challenge making it somewhat annoying to take a nice shower, which is a pity considering everything else about the apartment is top notch.
