6.0Located about 5min walk from Baker st station. Excellent location and fairly large flat for central London. Bed is comfortable
− Extremely difficult to get hold of the host. We were informed about key collection info just about three hours before our check-in when we were looking to contact booking.com on how to get a refund to make a different booking Bcos we didn’t know if we will get a place to stay. Then the info sent was inaccurate. Exact flat number is not sent - a phone number to the door man was sent. He didn’t answer the phone and after 1.5hrs he responded saying he has left the company. Tried calling, messaging, emailing finest retreats but no answer. So we were waiting on the road with luggage desperately trying to contact someone. Eventually the doorman who doesn’t work there gave a contact for another lady who works in the building who let us in. We booked a two bed flat but the second bedroom was locked and she said she cannot open it without confirmation from Finest Retreats. Finally I explained their unresponsiveness and threatened to leave and about half hour later she opened that door. We asked for an early check in but finally got the flat around 5.30-6pm after a lot of stress. The flat has a damp, mould smell. The showers are terrible.
