Nothing but harassment

− Nothing at all, we had paid premium amount for the property which we was never allotted to us, rather the host harassed us with some shabby make shift arrangements in remote areas without any lifts and were forced to shift locations within 2 days of our scheduled stay. So surprised how booking.com allows such harassment of travelers without any notice. We were informed about the non availability of our booked property after we landed at JKF airport on the day of our arrival.

− Although the address of this property was listed as 60 Pine Street several weeks ago when we made reservations. and still is, when we arrived last week we were directed instead to stay at 90 Nassau Street. We were given only a one day notice before our arrival.. For prospective renters who care about the local community they are renting in, they should check carefully the local neighborhoods of these two addresses. Nassau is a busy street with lots of retail there, it’s an older building with scaffolding surrounding most of the building and during weekdays workers right outside your windows, and there is frequently the smell of marijuana on the street. Pine Street is much better in these regards and has the advantage of a Whole Foods nearby. So it might be wise to not assume Pine Street as the property address, and then risk being placed in a different, and possibly inferior, neighborhood.

We stayed one week in the appartement, it has been very convenient for our family of 5. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and the large dinning table that can accommodate up to 6 persons. 3 Bedrooms and 2 bathroom were confortable and the beds lining very confortable. The location of the accommodation in the financial district was at walking distance to ground zero and embarcadère for Elis and liberty islands. Nice grocery shops, bars and restaurants are in the close neighborhood. Check-in was well supported by our host and the host provided immediate assistance when the service door was locked from the inside during elevator down time. We recommend booking this appartement if you are looking for large accommodation down-town Manhattan

Our stay was really nice, the apartment clean and comfortable, location really close to metro.

I liked that there was a an iron, essentials to cook breakfast and the coffee right next to the building is amazing!

− The property manager was helpful when needed but not super friendly
