La ubicación. También tenía todo lo necesario, como aire acondicionado, secador, canales de TV, agua fría, baño moderno...

− Nos dijeron que las llaves estaban dentro de la casa y que teníamos que usar un código, pero estaban debajo del felpudo.

Nothing. This was an absolute disaster. Beyond the tale of woe below, the studio apartment we actually did get into had no windows, no escape route if there was a fire. The building was dark and not very inviting. Felt cold too.

− Well, to start with, the host is a crook. We booked the night before our arrival in Madrid. Messaged the host when we landed at the airport (we had received a confirmation via Booking.com, but no instructions from the host as you usually receive when you book). We proceeded to the address listed on our reservation, but still nothing from the host at check in time. We tried calling the host at the number provided on our reservation--no answer. We called Booking.com customer service--they tried to call the host--no answer. Booking.com said they would email the host, and if there was no response in a half an hour, they'd refund our money. The host apparently emailed back right at the half hour point, but still no contact with us. Oh, they're using the WhatsApp app that I didn't have on my phone. Ok, get WhatsApp. Host texts address is actually not where we are--walk around the block to find the place--it's in an alley next to some restaurant. Host texts I need to watch a video to get in. Watch video and use provided door code to get into apartment shown in the video. Where's the other half of the apartment? The magic video took us to a studio apartment, not the 2br/2ba unit we had rented. Host doesn't understand 2br/2ba--have to explain what that means. Says I'm in the wrong apartment (the electronic lock code he gave me worked on this unit...); tells me to go upstairs to 3rd floor unit. Go upstairs to 3rd floor unit; use provided door code (same type of lock)--no entry. Text host to provide me with the code--nothing. Wait 10 minutes (already 1.5 hours past when we arrived onsite...) and I tell the host we are going elsewhere. Twenty minutes later host texts back claiming I didn't follow instructions. Nope, watched provided video. Used door code provided. Got into a studio apartment. Tried third floor apartment with same code provided--nothing. Felt like a bait & switch.

La ubicación es genial!!! La verdad es k era acogedor aunque sin ventanas

− La limpieza podría ser un poco más. Nosotros no usamos la cocina porque para 2 días no íbamos a cocinar pero la verdad es k no me hubiera gustado usarla... Estaba todo limpio pero le faltaba un toque más Y el ruido de la escalera cuando subía alguien Pero como es sin ventanas no sé escuchaba nada más de la calle

− El apartamento no corresponde con el que estás alquilando en Booking, ni fotos ni siquiera ubicación, llegas y te mandan a la calle de al lado a otro lugar sin ventanas que parece un zulo, donde no funciona el agua de la ducha, ni toallas ni nada de servicio, intentas contactar y ni siquiera te contestan. La tele no funciona, la cama tiene una claraboya de acceso que si encienden la luz de la comunidad te despierta, la nevera está encima de la lavadora y todo se tenía que coger con pinzas.
