Lovely Private Room and Shower At Anson Hotel♡

OK - clean but basic.

It was very clean, the communication with the property managers was very good and the instructions were clear. The bed was comfortable.

− The shower water temperature wasn’t consistent, the sink in the bathroom was very small and the mirror cupboard above it projected out so that if you were trying to wash your face you could bang your head on it. The location was a little further out than I’d appreciated - £25 for a taxi there from Euston Station. A little expensive for what it was but London prices I guess. It wasn’t really a hotel - more an en-suite room with access to kitchen facilities.

The property is in a really lovely area and was close to the amenities/transport with only a 10 minute walk. The property was really clean and secure, with easy access and easy check in/out. There was a kitchen available for us to use, which even though we didn't, was very handy in case we wanted something from there. There was even a washing machine. Although there were no staff that we came into contact with, the support team were very quick to answer if needed.

− The only things I wasn't keen on was the pillows were quite hard so I didn't have the most comfortable sleep with those and you needed a certain knack for opening the shower door, but due to the size of the bathroom, I can see there would be no other door option for the space. Eventually we got the knack anyway!
