I loved the location because we caught the train and there was no need to take the water taxi schlepping our luggage on and off a boat. Once we located the hotel and stored our luggage we caught the water taxi to the main square. The ride is about 15-20 minutes after all the stops. Venice is one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in Italy.

− I dont have anything bad to say about Venice, its one of my favorites. I didn't like the person at the hotel who escorted us to our room, which was not necessary. He gave us attitude because he didn't like the tip I gave him. I think he was the owner/bellman. But the hotel elevators are so small and it was very tight with 3 ppl and 2 of us with luggage. Anywho, it was a nice hotel and served its purpose.

The room is big and the furniture is pretty, I saw some people complainig about the alexa in the room, just shut the camera off and it should be okay, ours had the camera off already. Its about 5 minutes away from Venice Santa Lucia train station, our fare included breakfast and it was very good they offered coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, bacon, variety of cheeses and breads, so if you get a good price with breakfast included dont hesitate to take it. Everything was clean, the bathroom was very big and pretty too, they also have a lift if you are worried about this as some hotels in Venice dont have lifts this one does. They also have very pretty and big toilets in the reception that you can use once you check out. The staff overall was okay as well.

− We made a reservation of a room with a single bed and a queen beed next to it, and thats what the photos in our reservation showed but once we arrived we got a room with 2 single beds turned into a king bed we told them we specifically booked this room as we wanted 2 separate beds, they told us they could separate the beds next day but not that night as there was no longer someone from service room, they said it was impossible and got a bit mad at us for requesting this, WHY?? They did solve the issue but we had to sleep in one bed the first night because they messed up our reservation so even if you book two beds double check with them that they will set up the room like that as they dont seem to double check on their side. I would have made it clear to them before my arrival but nowhere in my reservation said we were getting one king bed.

− Rude staff, didn’t pay any attention to their clients, couldn’t help with the fact they had different sockets which didn’t fit my classic European socket plug in. Nothing good, I will not come back
