The fact that I had to run far, far, far away from it after leaving within 20 mins of arriving there.

− In all my years of traveling as an adult across more than 20 countries, this was by far the worst accommodation experience I've ever had. This listing felt completely misleading. The host appears to be running a scam, and Booking.com was ultimately unable to help. The photos online looked heavily AI-generated and bore little resemblance to the actual property. The apartment did not match the description in any meaningful way. It was filthy, unhygienic, and simply not fit to stay in. The conditions were shocking. There were visible fecal stains on the sofa, what appeared to be bodily fluids (including semen) on the bed sheets, and a bag of garbage left sitting at the entrance. One of the light fixtures was broken and literally tied up with a piece of rope to stop it from falling. The apartment was also unbearably hot, making it impossible to keep the windows closed. Unfortunately, keeping them open meant constant noise from construction next door and nearby train tracks, making sleep nearly impossible. On top of that, the guests in the adjacent room were shouting loudly for extended periods. When I raised these issues with Phillip, the property's contact person, his response was dismissive and unhelpful. He told me, "You should have known better—it's Zone 1, that's just how it is." As a tourist, I had no reason to know what "Zone 1" supposedly implied. He also claimed I should have cancelled several days earlier if I didn't like the property—which makes no sense, as there was no way to know the true condition of the apartment before arriving. He further stated that he didn't care because he was "just managing the property for someone else" and that his only concern was collecting money from the booking. Instead of offering any assistance or attempting to resolve the situation, he simply told me to leave if I wasn't happy, while making it clear that no refund would be provided. Booking.

Everything worked, no issues. Easy communication.

There are nice breakfast cafes located nearby.

− The accommodation is very simple, no frills but cost effective and practical. Nice for a quick overnight sty or two.

− Het gebrek aan waterdruk, vooral tijds het douchen. Gebrek aan onderhoud en hygiëne. Schimmel in badkamer. Wasmachine wasmiddelen bak vies en aangekoekt. Oven en koffiemachine niet bruikbaar zonder grondige schoonmaak

− Smell of the carpet on stairs to the first floor worried me a little but the apartment itself is incredibly clean and tidy - shower kitchen carpet - all pristine
