Good location and good price for the area of London, but apartment was not maintained very well.

Location was good, nearby cafes, convenience stores and restaurants. Tube stations were a few minutes walk from the apartment. The space was big enough for two people. The price was pretty good for this area of London

− It wasn't clear from the description that the apartment was basement level. When we arrived, there were towels that were being dried in the washing machine and they did not dry even though the dryer was running for about 6 hours. In the end I hung them up on the coat rack and it took another day for them to be dry. I call the host about it and he said they weren't supposed to be in the washer/dryer, and the cleaning staff must have left them there. Also, there were several light bulbs in the bedroom that were not working and because there was no natural light coming into the apartment (basement level) it was very gloomy until the host was able to get an electrician to change the bulbs. Just gave an impression that the host or property managers weren't really monitoring and maintaining the apartment very well.

Excellent location. Very clean. Excellent a/c. Loved that there was 1 in each room! Good shower. Everything worked. Great space. Tesco express very close as well as public transport. Lovely Italian restaurant, Bennies, around the corner.

− Sofa bed looked good but not comfortable even for a sofa bed; very firm. Double bed dips in middle but otherwise comfortable. Entrance stairway very narrow.

I liked that the property was spacious for a one bedroom and the location of where it is, it’s in marleybone and close to many things in central London. The host is very friendly and responsive, they allowed me to check in early

− I didn’t like that the apartment was a basement apartment which came as a surprise because it was never mentioned in anything of the advertising, there were a lot of fruit flies and bugs because it’s in a basement, ladder to get down to the apartment is extremely narrow and very difficult to get up an downstairs with a suitcase. There is a smell in the apartment and a smell that comes from the staircase, also it’s very loud, you hear alot of noise from upstairs because it’s a basement and above you is a barber shop, you hear alot of cars because it’s directly by the street as well and a lot of construction in the area.

− It is down very narrow dirty stairs and is very dark. The kitchen is minimal. Internet iffy. Bathroom ok Bed ok

The property was fully equipped. Even had separate built-in air conditioning for the room and common room/area. It even has a walk-in wardrobe. The owner is also very accommodating and responsive via WhatsApp

− The bathroom was connected to the bedroom, and anyone requiring the use of the bathroom will have to go through the bedroom The stairs leading down to the apartment was narrow, difficult to move large luggage
