10.0An incredibly quiet and peaceful place in the most "istanbulish" part of Istanbul. Perfect location: charming neighborhood, lots of cafes, small shops and antique shops; supermarket and bakery within a 5-minute walk; walking distance to attractions and piers. We practically did not use transport, except for ferries.
− The shower mixer was splashing water, it needs to be replaced. The room with two beds is really small, but you can see it in the photos and there is a lot of space in the rest of the apartment.
A great place to stay in Istanbul
8.0A very cozy apartment, comfortable beds, very clean, good WiFi. The location was great; a quick walk up the hill to Istikal street, a quick walk down the hill to the tram. Taksim square also close by, good options for eating and shopping, very neat neighborhood, with lots of art galleries and specialty shops. Recommend as a great base to explore Istanbul from!
− There was a gas burning appliance (water heater) in the second bedroom that was quite loud. Kitchen was ok for a short stay, but would have been tough to work in for a longer stay, although there are lots of places close by to eat. No coffee maker 😔
