The location is wonderful !

− Just a little bit more of basic things, like oil to cook coffee sugar, cream, and paper towels! But definitely is a really nice place to stay in the downtown of Miami ! The price totally worth it!

Not as advertised or sanitary!

− We initially booked a different hotel but canceled it after seeing that ALEA had a unit available. Since we had stayed in this building before and had a great experience, we decided to come back but this time we took the risk with a different host/room since the one we’ve stayed in before wasn’t available. One of the main reasons we booked this room was because the listing advertised early and late check-in/check-out options. We requested an early check-in but were told it wasn't available. We then had to pay an additional $10 just to have our bags stored until the room was ready. During our previous stay in this building with a different host, this was never an issue. When we finally entered the room, there were gnats flying throughout the unit, including around the bed. The bathroom felt unsanitary, with stains on the toilet and an unpleasant odor. The furniture was peeling and falling apart, the bed felt more like a full size than the advertised queen, the windows were covered in handprints, and the TV was extremely small. To make matters worse, the room overlooked a construction site, which was not what we expected based on the listing. We paid approximately $300, including the luggage storage fee, and unfortunately did not feel the stay was worth the price. We could have stayed at another hotel in Miami for the same cost with a much better experience. We also did not receive the advertised late check-out. Instead, we were only given an extra 30 minutes, and housekeeping was already knocking on the door asking for the keys before that time was even up. I don't normally take the time to leave negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience. We specifically canceled another reservation because we trusted our previous experience at ALEA with a different host/room but Sadly, this stay did not meet the expectations set by the listing, and it was a disappointing return.

Fantastic location and facilities, just maybe pack some earplugs!

The location is perfect- so close to Bayside, the Miami Metromover, loads of grocery shops and restaurants on the doorstep. The facilities are also outstanding - if I come back to Miami I will stay here again

− The bed wasn’t massively comfortable, and the cushions on the back of the sofa bed aren’t attached so be careful if you lean over the side! And this isn’t a fault of the accomodation but something to bear in mind- there is a lot of construction work next to the apartment building and they start work at 7am so the noise is something to bear in mind.

− A hotel kozvetlen közelében hatalmas építkezés folyik, óriási zajjal jár egész nap, reggel 7 órától. Erről nem kaptunk előzőleg tájékoztatást. Több mint egy órát vártunk, hogy megkapjuk a kulcsot. A fürdőszobában nem volt csak 1db törülköző fejenként. Ahhoz, használni tudjuk a medencét vennünk kellett törülközőt. A tisztaság sem volt megfelelő.
