Wonderful flat in quiet area but still in convenient location within walking distance to metro and British Museum, and others. Host was very helpful and responsive. The furnishings were very comfortable and charming, giving a good feeling of living in London.

This is a wonderful flat in a central yet quiet part of the city. Easy to walk or train everywhere. This is like staying at a friend's home while they are out of town -- homey, well-equipped kitchen, lovely furnishings and art... Pretty much anything you'd need for a good visit. I stayed here 10 days and could have easily and comfortably spent a month. Internet is super fast (this has been fixed since that negative review). This flat is a gem.

− The heating is a little finicky but I figured out the right balance so I wasn't sweating or chilly. Bed is a double (think slightly larger than a twin, smaller than a queen) -- it was fine for me as a solo traveler.

El tamaño del living es lo único rescatable porque es grande. Y està bien equipado... cafetera, horno, microondas, lavarropas, ollas y demás...

− Nada! Todo muy viejo y con olor a humedad. El dormitorio es muy chico y la cama es ínfima! Los tapizados de los sillones y almohadones no se lavan hace por lo menos 20 años... El palier de entrada tiene un olor a viejo fatal! Humedad... Para tomar el ascensor (que sólo entra una persona y una valija..) tenés que subir 7 escalones. Al abrir el agua del baño comienza a funcionar una bomba que hace un ruido terrible. Con la ducha lo mismo. Muy molesto. Pedimos hacer el check-in un rato antes y te cobran £50... y para el check-out ni siquiera te dejan dejar las valijas... te manda a un storege luggage, que por supuesto hay que pagarlo. No te solucionan nada ni colaboran. Al llegar las llaves tenés que ir a buscar a 3 cuadras... y al salir tenés que devolverlas en el mismo lugar.. no son capaces de esperarte con las llaves o algo asi. No volvería ni lo recomiendo. Por esa plata hay miles de lugares mejores.

Very stylish, spacious, great interior design apartment in the very heart of London and yet peaceful

An excellent location and a really beautifully interior designed flat. Large open plan living and kitchen room. Feels like a real home and not a holiday let. Very comfortable bed. Everything worked well. Location is second to none. Fitzrovia feels like a village right in the centre of London. We walked everywhere. Fabulous choice of restaurants, coffee shops, bars on the doorstep but no noise disturbance. Really enjoyed our stay.

− Not a problem for us, but just so folk are aware for booking. Key is collected from and returned to a service in a local shop (5 mins walk away) and they do not open until 10am on Sundays. There was a message saying an alternative arrangement could be made.

First of all: @ Helena: many thanks for the lovely stay in your flat, we enjoyed it a lot! helena war ein fantastischer Host, die uns mit allen Informationen (detailliert und strukturiert aufbereitet) versorgte. Sie war jederzeit erreichbar für uns, was aber gar nicht notwendig war, da die Unterkunft alles bietet um sich wie zuhause zu fühlen. Die Ausstattung ist großartig, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Für den Bedarf alller wichtigen Haushaltsartikel war ausreichend vorgesorgt - überdies ist sie entzückend eingerichtet. Sehr angenehm fanden wir auch, dass es sich um eine Eckwohnung handelt die sich im 3.Lift Stock befindet. Dadurch kann sie besonders im Sommer immer gut durchgelüftet werden. Die Lage ist sehr gut, Nähe Oxford Circus, trotzdem sehr ruhig und die Flughafenverbindung optimal. ( 10 Min zu Fuss zu Elisabeth Line die direkt Heathrow anfährt). Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.
