Handy for Hampstead High Street
9.0We loved the proximity to Hampstead High Street for shopping, eating out & public transport. The property was easy to access, reasonably spacious, clean & tidy, & provided all the required facilities, as well as a washer/dryer. As we were staying during a heatwave, we were pleased to find a tower fan & an air conditioner already doing its job on arrival. The wardrobe space in the bedroom was unusually generous for a holiday let, & much appreciated for a nine-day stay.
− The building is situated on a busy pedestrian thoroughfare, with a small square and seating in the shade of a large sycamore tree, so be prepared for early & late noise. There is also outside seating for cafés. I personally did not find the noise intrusive, but rather characteristic of this more exclusive area of London! As a tea-drinker, I was surprised to find no teapot in the kitchen &, despite the video, struggled to get the settings right to use the oven. As older people, we would have appreciated something to help prevent falls in the shower.
Ideal location Accommodations were very clean
8.0location was perfect In the heart of Hampstead Our window faced the front of the building and it was very loud at night which could be because both tennis and FIFA were happening and at the end of the school term for older kids
Very comfortable during the heatwave.
