Good location and a decent flat, but unbearable in the heatwave with no AC and poor ventilation
4.0Excellent location, only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the ExCeL centre, which was perfect for us since we were attending Travel Tech Show. Plenty of good spots to eat and relax within easy reach. The apartment is spacious and decent, three proper bedrooms with enough room for a group, clean and well kept. For the location and the space, no complaints.
− The main issue was cooling. There is no air conditioning, and only a single standard fan for a large three bedroom apartment. We stayed during the June heatwave and it was genuinely hard to sleep or stay comfortable. Ventilation makes it worse: the bedroom windows only open to a narrow gap, and the single door that opens fully is the balcony door in the living room, which does not help much at night. Because of the location and the way the flat sits, it heats up through the day and ends up like a sauna. With all the windows on one side, there is no way to create a draught and air the place out, so even in the evening and at night you keep cooking in the heat. I will admit I did not check the cooling setup before booking, but a property this size should have proper ventilation, or at least a fan in each bedroom. If you are visiting in warm weather, keep this in mind. Everything else about the apartment was fine, this was the one thing that spoiled the stay.

− The apartment was not very clean. The apartment needs renovation. Some of the furniture and facilities are broken and not working properly.

8.0The location to Excel was amazing. There were plenty of places to eat and a Tesco Express outside 👍 The Tube station is also right outside, which is great.
− The kitchen didn't have as many glasses etc. as I would have liked. There was no spare toilet roll. I didn't think to bring any :(
Close to public transportation, very nice and clean.
10.0Inside was clean and had so much room for our big family of 7. It was next to stores to purchase snacks and right across the street from public transportation. Would only stay here if in the area again.
