− We didn’t cook so it wasn’t a problem but not sure the kitchen was that well equipped

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We were sent really clear instructions from the host of how to get from the airport to the apartment. The apartment had free WiFi, which was good for us when trying to plan our trips online. We had a great stay!

− The recycling/waste situation was difficult for us, especially as we were only there for 5 days and only certain items can be recycled each day, until 10 am. Sometimes, we were out on a trip and missed the trash boat. It would have been helpful if the host could have helped with the last day at least, rather than stating we would be fined if we left any waste in the apartment.

Great location, friendly people, caring host.

The most beautiful balcony in the heart of Venice.

This accommodation was absolutely wonderful. The apartment is cozy, full of light, and beautifully decorated. The location couldn’t be better - just steps away from all the key spots in the city center, yet on a quiet street with no crowds. But by far the best part of the apartment is the stunning, spacious balcony. I can’t wait to come back.

− The only thing that could be improved is the kitchen equipment. It’s not made for serious cooking, which is fine, but a better knife and a cutting board would be great for those of us who eat a lot of fruit for breakfast. :)

A veru nice stay in the heart of Venice

The apartment is in one of the best locations in Venice, ideal for exploring the San Marco and Castello districts. It is close to both Zaccaria and Formosa and is easily accessible, with tons of restaurants, bars, museums and beautiful churches nearby. The apartment is right at the canal, so you can see gondolas and sometimes hear singers from the balcony. This also ensures a constant breeze and fresh air with a hint of salt. You may see 5 or 6 main campanillas and domes from the balcony as well as close neighbourhood, that makes the spirit of Venice. The apartment itself is nice and spacious with two rooms, one of which is a bedroom and the other a small living room. There is a small kitchenette in the corridor which is good for making scrambled eggs for breakfast, but not much more. It has effective air conditioning and shutters on the windows. It's clean and comfortable. We had some issues checking in as the owner/manager was unavailable, but everything was arranged by the time we arrived at the address, so thank you Lucia. There was an upright piano in the living room and, as I can play, it made the whole week-long stay very enjoyable.

− There is rather a large balcony than a terrace. There is no parasol or deckchair there, only a small coffee table and chairs. There is hardly a place one can eat anything because the main table is arranged more like a large desk with a map on it. The kitchenette is not equipped too well, we also missed even a basic washing machine although the bathroom was spacious. But they were not big issues, we enjoyed our stay very much.
