Location is fantastic, right next to Battersea Power Station, easy walk to Battersea Park, across the bridge to Chelsea, tube station etc. Loads of shops, cafés and restaurants around. Apart from that we truly appreciated the a/c, general comfort and quality of the apartment and again, amazing location. Would book again, but be more aware of the check-in timing requirements.

− Check in was frustrating because the Heathrow Express was down so we were delayed getting into London and the hosts told us if we couldn't be there at 3pm, we would have to wait until 7pm. We managed to sort it out in the end, but it involved us rushing across London in the blazing heat in order to meet their requirements. When we got there, they were friendly and helpful, but the timing was tricky. Maybe there could be an alternative of a lockbox or collecting the keys from a nearby location if someone can't be there in person. There were certain parts of the apartment that could have been cleaner, kitchen cupboards, bathroom floor etc. But it was perfect for a couple of nights.

La ubicación y la zona son muy buenas, con mucha vida y muy segura. Además, el piso estaba limpio, las camas eran cómodas y la cocina tenía todo lo necesario para poder cocinar. La comunicación con el anfitrión fue muy buena y rápida. La devolución de la fianza fue rápida. ¡Sin duda repetiría mi estancia aquí!

− La habitación pequeña era un poco incómoda ya que si duermen dos personas, una debe entrar por los pies de la cama. Además se escucha bastante el tren por las noches, aunque el aislamiento es bueno. Para ser un apartamento de lujo le faltan algunos detalles, como gel, champú, trapos o papel de cocina, pastillas para el lavaplatos o que las tazas no estaba bien lavadas. Algunas partes necesitan más mantenimiento, como la ducha, la limpieza del horno o el lavaplatos. A veces, el suministro de agua caliente era intermitente mientras te duchas. Puliendo estos pequeños detalles, se convertiría en un apartamento perfecto.

The apartment is very modern, with beautiful new furniture and located in a luxurious, modern building. It looks exactly like the photos and gives a great first impression.

− There are several important points that I noticed were not mentioned in previous reviews: - The apartment was missing several essential cleaning and hygiene supplies. Only a few garbage bags were provided, and the available items were insufficient for the number of guests staying in the apartment. For example, there were just two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom for a five-day stay, no tissue paper, and the shower gel and shampoo were nearly empty. Fortunately, we had brought our own. When I raised this with the host, the response was simply, “you can supply yourself if you need more.” For a property presented as a “luxurious apartment,” this was quite disappointing. - The kitchen was not equipped with any basic cooking essentials — not even salt, sugar, or oil — which are usually provided in high-standard, well-rated accommodations. - The host’s responsiveness was also lacking. I asked for dishwasher pods so we could clean after ourselves, but my message was ignored. On the day of check-out, I received instructions to collect and dispose of all the garbage in the building’s garbage room. While I don’t mind cleaning after myself, the tone of the message wasn’t friendly or polite, and it felt more like a task given to guests rather than part of the cleaning service we pay for. - The house rules were extremely strict — including a warning not to move any furniture at all, with mention that doing so could affect the deposit. This felt unnecessarily rigid, as minor shifts can happen unintentionally during a stay. - Another key point no one mentioned: the apartment is located directly above a train station. You can clearly hear the sound of trains passing throughout the day and night. It can be noisy and may bother light sleepers.
