DELUXE ROOM GOOD/ SUPERIOR STUDIO IS DAMP AND HAD WATER COMING UP THROUGH FLOORBOARDS
2.0The location was great, easy transport links. Great park near the property for wandering etc. We seen a cleaner every morning, the entranceway etc was clean and tidy. We booked two apartments, the deluxe one was great. Also great shared kitchen/dining area. The applicances throughout the property were in good condition, shared areas etc. Matresses were very soft, but surpisingly I woke up with no sore back! The DELUXE room was in great condition, only complaint was it was hot and the windows didnt let in much air, but that was it!
− DO NOT BOOK THE SUPERIOR ROOM WITH TERRACE!! Absolutley stinks of damp when entering, thought, okay they've maybe had a leak thats been fixed....WRONG. We spent all 4 nights wearing our shoes as moisture would seep through the floorboards and soak into our socks, only made that mistake once. After the shower had been used, very briefly, we noticed a watery/squelchy sound when you stood on the floorboards in front of the bathroom, this then started to seep out into larger puddles, we had to use the properties towel to soak it up and try dry it. We then realised when we were on the wooden decking on the terrace area, that theres water underneath that you can see if you look through the slats in the decking, this was about level with the basement floor...I think the water table/subsidance is the issue. The basement flats should have never been turned into proprties, not with the way the water is sitting. If I could have afforded to stay elsewhere, i would have.
