Host absolutely charming and extremely helpful. Location excellent. We were completely let down when pre-booked accommodation was suddenly and inexplicably unavailable. Nick couldn’t have been kinder to us.

Central location just an 8-10min walk from the nearest underground stations. Good communication with the hosts who responded promptly to messages/requests, provided information about the city and tried to solve problems that came up to the best of their ability (too little too late though). We even got a 150gbp voucher if we come back and stay with them again which was a nice gesture. This is why I don't rate this a 1. I sincerely hope they are serious about turning this around but at the moment I can't give a better rating.

− The photos at booking.com only remotely correspond with the reality you face when you move in (see below) and it starts with the address which is not the same (400m longer walk from the metro). You expect a modern Scandinavian design but all the furniture is replaced with 40-50 year old antiques, wooden chipped table with mismatched chairs from a Greek tavern etc. We stayed in January and the bathroom was the coldest room as the window is not shut tight and there is no radiator in there. We had no hot water when we moved in but this was fixed within 2 hours. We discovered that the dishwasher was not draining properly and it turned out that the pump needs to be changed which of course didn't happen during our stay (as a family of five I explicitly asked about the dishwasher before we traveled) 95% of the kitchenware was dirty, some downright filthy. The cupboards need some deep cleaning too and generally cleanliness was a big minus which the owners attributed to new cleaning staff (from ironically Spotless Stars Cleaning). We spend the first evening (after along day with three small children) doing their work. Minor things like outlets or lamps not working, hair in one of the "clean" towels and broken panels or drawers were just icing on the cake. The owner called to apologize and we got a voucher as mentioned but I feel that the owner should know about the condition of the apartment they are renting and not finding out the problems by the client. I still have some fear that the situation will not change and as Niru has other apartments also I would be careful reading reviews before booking. I urge anyone staying here after us to write a review if things have changed to the better. At the moment not worth the money and the hustle. Possibly the worst experience in my 15 years traveling with booking.com.

We stayed as two adults, one child, and a baby, and overall had an excellent experience. Although the apartment was a bit small, it was perfectly adequate by London standards and worked very well for our family. Due to the weather and our busy schedule, we couldn’t fully enjoy it, but the property has a wonderful garden at the back. The internet and cleanliness were above typical London standards. Highly recommended!

− The only minor downside was the cutlery set — it could be renewed or increased in number.
