− WiFi was slow
Awful & will never go again
1.0Nothing!!! It was so nasty there. Staff was so rude! Rooms were disgusting & full of mold! Lots of stairs to het to our room. We were told we had an upgrade that we NEVER asked for but the room was awful!!!

Disappointing bait and switch.
3.0− We arrived (via €70 water taxi for the romantic arrival) to be told there was “a problem with our room’s water” and they had to move us to another hotel. They claimed they’d messaged us to warn us but we received no such word. We then followed a porter about half a km to a mediocre bland 3* hotel with a view onto a wall. NOT the magical historic experience we were sold. While “life happens” the fact this new hotel charges the same price we paid left us thinking this was possibly bait and switch. The fact the hotel didn’t volunteer any sort of refund reinforced this idea. Very disappointing.

9.0Prachtig historisch gebouw in goede staat, schoon en met moderne comfort zoals airco. Rijkelijk ontbijt en bovenal bijzonder vriendelijk en professioneel personeel. Centraal gelegen met unieke ligging aan het Grand Canal.
Excellent location and great old Venice feel
9.0Loved the location, the private arrival for taxi boats, the breakfast, the general feel of old Venice, the staff was great
− AC did not function properly, our reservations were not booked in their system but they accommodated us. I would have liked breakfast included for all the trouble but nothing was offered.
