What we loved most about our stay was the fantastic rooftop terrace, which offered a beautiful, quiet view right in the middle of lively Brixton. Additionally, the host was incredibly helpful and replied to all of our messages super quickly. Even though there was a small mix-up with the cleaning staff's shift when we arrived, the host handled it immediately and got the flat cleaned up for us in no time.

− We were a bit surprised to find the flat rather untidy when we first checked in. Also, the bed in one of the back guest rooms was really uncomfortable to sleep on, and we noticed several pieces of chewing gum stuck to the back wall of the bed, which could have easily been removed before our arrival.

Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich. Die Ausstattung der Küche war sehr gut. Auf Anfrage wurde uns ein Ventilator gebracht.

− Bei 37 Grad Außen- und Innentemperatur waren alle Fenster mit Schloss zugeschlossen, man konnte im Schlafzimmer nicht lüften. Lediglich im Flur und in der Küche konnte man die Fenster leicht kippen. Das ist bei 37 Grad zu wenig und der Ventilator verwirbelt nur die heiße Luft. Der Fußboden war sehr staubig, die Teppiche in Bad und Wohnzimmer verschmutzt. Die Ecken im Bad schwarz. Das Treppenhaus schmutzig und mit üblen Geruch.

Das Appartement lag nicht weit von der U-Bahn Station Brixton entfernt und man ist schnell in der Innenstadt. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und hat sich immer schnell gemeldet. Es gab alles was man benötigt, inklusive Toaster und Kaffeemaschine. Die Nähe zur U-Bahn und der Preis ist echt in Ordnung.

Location was excellent! The staff/owner was incredible. There were crossed wires on arrival due to a change in number of guests but was very quickly and efficiently managed!

− The WiFi wasn’t great for 8 guests, even with the booster in the rear bedroom.

Asunto huippu sijainnilla

Huoneiston sijainti on todella hyvä ja kätevä. Victoria Linen Brixton metroasema on lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä ja teki kulkemisesta todella helppoa. Sijainti kuitenkin rauhallinen, viikonloppu öisinkään ei kuulunut asuntoon yöjuhlijoiden ääniä. Asunto oli siisti ja toimi meidän neljän hengen porukallemme oikein hyvin. Asunnosta löytyi valmiina jo erilaisia tuotteita kuten vesipullot, hedelmiä, teetä yms. sekä kylpyhuoneesta suihkusaippuaa (ei kyllä ollut samaa saippuaa mitä pullossa luki, mutta suihkusaippua on suihkusaippua😊) ja käsirasvaa sekä hiustenkuivain. Huoneistosta löytyi myös kaikki muukin tarvittava, jolle meillä ei niin suurta tarvetta lyhyellä lomalla ollut, kuten pyykinpesukoneet ja silityslauta.

− Äänieristys oli heikko. Käytävältä kuului naapurien kulkeminen ja lattiat narisi kovasti varsinkin olohuoneen käytävän kohdilla. Myös toisen makuuhuoneen sänky narisi kovasti. Ja tämä ei ehkä ole ongelma kaikille, mutta parisängyissä oli vain yksi iso peitto ja me kaikki olemme tottuneet nukkumaan omalla peitolla.(Tämä taitaa olla pohjoismainen tapa😅) Kysyttäessä, saimme asunnossa olevasta levitettävästä sohvasta yhden extra peiton ja yksi meistä nukkui lakanalla. Nämä ei kuitenkaan olleet suuria ongelmia meille, nukuimme hyvin ja olimme tyytyväisiä asuntoon sillä sijainti on todella kätevä.
