The location Spacious apartment

− The elevator is not working, and I was not informed before my arrival. I am traveling with my mother, who has knee problems, two children, and a stroller. This has made our stay very difficult and affected our holiday. I also tried contacting the property through Booking.com, but I received no response. I expected better customer service and more concern for guests' satisfaction.

Great home base in central London

Very central location, under 10 mins walk to Knightsbridge or South Kensington underground stations and the location felt very safe. The apartment was large and the beds very comfortable. Very quiet street for being so close to the busy shopping district. Easy walk to Hyde Park and the Natural History Museum, we would definitely book here again.

− We had a little issue with the hot water, which was quickly sorted out by the apartment manager.

location

− when we arrived there was no key in the box, they had let in the wrong people into our apartment so we had to wait outside while that was sorted out, the elevator did not work, it is two flights up so we had to carry our luggage up and down. The apartment is clean but worn out, doors dont close properly, paint is chipped, baseboards marked, mattresses are the cheapest foam versions. very limited and basic cups/mugs. The furniture is mismatched, with rickety stools that felt like they would break any minute. the bathrooms smell, one shower had no cold supply and the temperature was set to 72C (3rd degree burns possible). If I had let my kids use it first I could have resulted in serious burns . The other shower had a lot of problems including the handles falling off in your hands. It leaked onto the floor and neither of the bathrooms had any vents or opening windows for smell or mist. The bath did not have a stopper. We were a family of 5, they gave 4 threadbare towels, the sheets was also very thin, and one of them actually tore on us. One toilet could not flush anything - it clogged almost immediately and no plunger, the other toilet took almost 3 mins to fill after a flush. They claim two sofa beds but only give bedding for one. The management claimed to be trying to fix the shower but even after 5 days had not, giving one excuse after another, they also dont appear to fix anything on weekends. My wife went to a hotel it was so uncomfortable.

Only the location is very convenient

− The en-suite bathroom is not useable as the facilities is not functioning: 1) shower head water is so slow, 2) water temperature is uncontrollable- intermittent and abrupt surges of boiling water followed by freezing cold.. 3) The toilet unit is not operational regarding flushing, added with pronounced upward backflow/sucking action during use. This hygienic issue is absolutely not acceptable 4) The bathtub is afflicted by pervasive black mold formation. 5) no or slow response when we reported all the problems in day one and only response when we checked out ….. there is basically no services and not at all a pleasant stay
