Great location, lacking in facilities

The location was amazing, comfortable beds and pretty decor.

− For the price we paid we were a little disappointed. There was no AC (which i know is rare) however a small fan in each room would be a great alternative as every time we got home from a day out it was boiling in the apartment. We chose to open the windows for this reason however only two out of four windows were able to be opened so the master bedroom never had any airflow. The bathroom was tiny and the light up mirror did not work, main light was not bright enough, toilet seat broken, no toilet paper holder and the tap near the toilet had no handle and was loose. Bathroom had no fan and we were not provided with a bath matt which was a bit of a slipping hazard. Bathroom door handle also came off and was not usable at all, some hand towels would have been nice and perhaps clearer instructions for how to open the front door as it was very fiddly. Bed frame in main bedroom seemed to be peeling due to sun damage which left bits of it on the sheets. Neighbours also very noisy but i understand that is out of the properties control. I think you definitely pay for the location and not the facilities, it is modern and pretty to look at but not very functional.

It’s in a good location, nice coffee shops nearby

− Many things in the apartment were broken (what seems like supposed to be a fire alarm was empty, door handles falling off from doors to the shower so we couldn’t close it, tap in the toilet, broken toilet seat). The apartment is not light and has a bad lighting (kitchen and shower room are very dark - no way to do make up there). The pictures on Booking are far away from the reality of the place. Last thing - it’s extremely loud, there are very noisy people living below and you can hear all their conversations (at 2am and 4am and 6am, don’t know if they sleep). Because there are some stairs to lower floor and what seems to be doors to there - everything is super loud. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Location was good, a short walk to some very nice bars, restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets. Approx 15min walk to High Street shops. Everything we wanted to do was accessible by foot, eating, drinking, museums etc. The rear of the property overlooked a small park and front overlooked a road and canal. Overall a good location. The apartment was clean.

− Unfortunately there were so many annoyingly things wrong with the apartment I had to make notes. Silly things that could easily be put right and elevate the property to another level. Firstly, things that would have improved our stay. No mirrors apart from a dimly lit shower room mirror, which the overhead light wasn’t working, a full length mirror would have been a great addition, shower room door handle is hanging off, no toilet roll holder, just a hole in the wall were there once was one, the lever on the tap in the cloakroom was missing so made it difficult to turn on and off, the toilet seat was ill fitting and very loose, the headboard in the front bedroom was flaking its PVC coating all over the bed and floor, very tatty. Two fans were provided but if you wanted to use one in the front bedroom it would need to sit on the floor as lack of sockets, so not really of any use, we sat it on the ironing board pushed up to the end of the bed to get any benefit from it. Sleeping would have been very uncomfortable without it. There was damp on the walls with flaking plaster, obviously coming from the shower room. The overall apartment needed some maintenance, filling and painting, generally quite scruffy, which is a shame as it has so much potential.

Goede locatie en schoon

− Op meerdere plekken waren beschadigingen. Op het toilet mist een toiletrolhouder. De benedenburen begonnen spontaan om 4 uur snachts een feest, wat via de trap naar beneden heel weg luidruchtig was.

Rien c’est cher et plutôt très ordinaire…L’appartement est usé jusqu’à la toile! C’est un attrape touriste.

− La lunette des toilette est décrochée, le distributeur de papier toilette est arraché et reste les trous dans le mur, 1 seul oreiller par personne et un vieux… il manque une pièce au robinet des toilettes, la lumière au dessus du du lavabo est HS et le lavabos à moitié bouché. Grosse tache d’humidité sur le mur a cause d’une fuite dans la salle de bain.

Nicht zu empfehlen. Leider enttäuscht.

Lage

− Die Unterkunft entspricht leider überhaupt nicht den Bildern und wirkt insgesamt sehr heruntergekommen. In der Küche und im Bad fehlten wichtige Ausstattungsgegenstände, es roch unangenehm, an den Wänden waren Flecken und die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig. Besonders enttäuschend waren die extrem durchgelegenen, teilweise verschmutzten und sehr unbequemen Betten – so etwas habe ich in einer Unterkunft noch nie erlebt.
