Great apartment ruined by an extremely rude check in encounter

The apartment was lovely and in a great location. Beds were extremely comfortable. Overall absolutely no complaints about the apartment itself. Miguel was very pleasant to deal with we also met his mother on the way out who was lovely too.

− Our check in experience was extremely unpleasant. We originally were supposed to land at 10:30 at night, Our flight was delayed an hour and due to this the car rental location was closed at the terminal we landed in and we had to get a bus to the other terminal to pick up our car which delayed us even further. All things that were completely out of our control. I was in contact with Tony (who was there to check us in) who was tracking my flight and knew about the delay. I explained to him we had to change terminals etc and kept him updated frequently with our progress. We ended up getting to the apartment at about 1am about 2 hours after our original expected arrival time. Upon arrival we met Tony who was extremely angry and rude towards us for being late, he spent around 5 minutes berating us in the car because he had to wait for us to arrive, he then demanded €50 cash from us to pay for his overtime and then flat out refused to let us park our vehicle in the designated parking spot saying it was too big and the biggest vehicle that could fit in the space was a range rover. We then had to park across the street in under parking which cost me €200+ for 4 nights where I parked beside a range rover and found out our vehicle was only about 10cm longer meaning we likely would have fit. I understand we were late and I understand Tony would have been frustrated but you do not take out your frustration on your customers especially when the entire delay is completely out of their control. This is a customer service fundamental and honestly completely unacceptable. We had even planned to tip Tony €150 for waiting but after the extremely rude reception and him demanding we pay him for his overtime there was absolutely no chance he was getting any sort of tip. As nice as the apartment was I will not recommend it to anybody due to how terrible we were treated upon arrival.

Det viktigste var at beliggenheten er helt topp, still og fredelig område med mange små utesteder.

Flott leilighet med stort deilig kjøkken med både godt utstyr og mulighet til å vaske/tørke klær. Gode senger, stille og fredelig og beliggenheten var helt topp. Enkelt å skaffe drosje, mange fine små utesteder i nærområdet og ikke langt fra stranden dersom man ønsker seg en dag der. En annen fordel er at du lett kan gå til Sagrada familia.

− Balkongen er liten og terrassemøblene var ødelagt og altfor store i forhold til terrassen. Kunne med fordel vært skiftet til mindre stoler (stablestoler) og et lite bord.

Fantastisch verblijf in hartje Barcelona

De locatie is echt fantastisch. Supermarkt en bakkerij in de straat. De straat is super rustig qua verkeer en geluid. Verder zag het appartement er prachtig en schoon uit en had alle belangrijke faciliteiten. Genoeg ruimte voor ons zessen. De eigenaar is erg aardig en behulpzaam.
