Great central location, dirty unmaintaned property

The location being close to tube station

− The door rattles very loudly and when I showed a staff member, she couldnt understand english and kept telling me the door was fixed. The place was dirty and needs a deep clean. The paint is chipped around the apartment. Theres mold in the bathroom with tiles buldging about to fall off. There were cigarette butts outside. The walls have black scuff marks on it. Its incredibly loud area to sleep in. There was no aircon. The fans were extremly dirty and had never been cleaned once( see photos) It feels like no money has been put into the maintenance of the apartment since the photos were taken, its slightly misleading as you dont get a recently renovated or clean flat.

We had a very nice staying at Skyline studio, in Bethnal Green, London.The studio has a nice, modern design. The room is spatious enough. Location is easy to reach, though the street is a bit noisy. Access to the apartment was very easy. Communication with the host was excellent, every question I had was read and answered in a few minutes, in a very amiable way. We were alowed to let the luggages in the building, by the apt door before check-in and after check-out time, which saved us a lot of time and energy. We came to London on very hot weather and we knew that London old buildings rarely have air conditioned, this building included. However, we were happy to realize that by leaving all the windows open during the day and using the fan provided we could cool the room nicely.

− The bathroom is very nice and modern, but a bit narrow, especially if you are a big person. The glass door is not closing tightly and sometimes the smell might be felt in the room, but the apt cand be quickly ventilated by opening all the windows. Wifi is not always reliable.

Nice and easy communication with host. Immediate replies. Close to bus stop. Nicely furnished apartment.

− Ground floor apartment. Hot summer in London. Temperature at night exceeding 30 degrees. Basically impossible to sleep. Only a small fun, no A/C. No chances of leaving door or window open at night for ventilation. Pillows with stains. Mold in the bathroom. Not a big deal. Easy improvement possible.

Location is great, friendly people, bus stop & underground very close, nice litle cafes, lovely Chinese takeaway, Co Op across the road... studio just needs a few more touches, only one chair if you wanted to eat in onrle has to sit on the bed.., little bedside table by the window, tea towel, as you only get 2 plates etc so no point using the dishwasher & you have to put them on the kitchen side wet & no where for them to drain properly.

− It states maybe some road noise, the road is very busy & very noisy, lots of buses, coaches & Police cars with sirens constantly, even through the night, there is a Police station down the road so they come past alot, people outside the shop downstairs chatting late at night. The fridge hadnt been cleaned properly.. The coat hook is on upside down on the front door & the towel rail in the bathroom is upside down so you can't hook the hand tails on... Little things but they all add up..
