8.0Facilities were fine and comfortable for a short stay. Everything worked as it should. Good location.
− Lack of natural daylight - all windows were either shuttered (due to being at street level) or frosted (bathroom & French windows onto the courtyard). Understandable in the circumstances, but admittedly a bit of a drawback.

3.0Location of a vibrant community near the Mauer Park.
− The biggest hurdle for non-German speakers are the requirements of calling the owner 20 minutes before arrival. The owner’s command of English is not that good. The key is specialized. Without good communication with owner, it will be hard for travelers to enter into the building and room. The staff is not there to help you when you need them. The second is that only one shapeless pillow is for one sleeper. The bedding is unusual, very thick blanket for summertime.

3.0− I appreciate the positive reviews of the place. I did not get to stay there, but my experience is that customer service will ghost you if you ask for help with an issue they prefer not to deal with. In my case about a botched reservation. No response to contact via their website, the Booking.com website or text messages.
