The location is great, there a are a lot of local restaurants around and the area is quite safe.

− If you are someone who suffers from anxiety in small spaces, be warned. 😅 our room had no window to the outside and was really small. The flatlet has very little fresh ventilation. This is quite challengeing especially with the bathroom. We had no duvets or throws on the bed... but I assumed it was because it is summertime. Great kitchen, if you want to cook for yourself.

refused refund for accidental double booking

− these people are thieves. I had an accidental double booking with the same provider but they refused any refund on the double-booked accommodation, making me pay for the full 4 nights. While I made a mistake, booking.com allowed me to reserve twice without any warning, neither did the accommodation provider check that a person with the same name was booked for the same dates in two of their properties. After much discussion they offered a 25 euro refund. I have disputed this with booking.com but it is yet to be resolved. A gross violation of EU and Australian consumer protection laws. A one night forfeit would have been reasonable, but they think they can just keep the full amount for both bookings.

The area was lovely with lots of nice cafe’s, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It was really convenient for getting around in Barcelona with metro station Rocquefort 2 minutes walk away. The room was clean. Plenty of space and equipment in shared kitchen for cooking. Shelf in fridge and freezer was enough for our short stay.

− The apartment hallway bathroom and kitchen smelt badly of fried food. The member of staff was not the most friendly. Extra charge of £10 euros per night for (very much needed) air con.

Unpleasant- a single shower/toilet shared between all guests and a horrible smell in the bathroom.

Location was good.

− There is one single toilet/shower/hand basin room to be shared between all guests staying in the four rooms available for rent in this apartment. It is not acceptable for such a large number of people to have only one toilet/shower/hand basin. And that the toilet and shower are both in the same room means you can’t use any of these facilities or even wash your hands if someone is in the toilet/shower room. The bath/shower room has a terrible smell. The room is generally cleaned daily but the terrible smell in the room remained. The owner needs to hire a plumber to investigate and resolve this horrible smell, which I’m very surprised wasn’t detected by the cleaner. The toilet paper provided was not enough for all guests, with occasions where kitchen paper towel was used by guests because there was no toilet paper available. There was no kitchen washing up detergent in the kitchen. Plates and cups left on the kitchen bench by other guests seemed to be returned to the cupboard (I assume by the cleaner) although there was no washing up detergent in the kitchen which Is interesting. I was able to mix some water with the empty detergent bottle to obtain enough soap to properly clean the utensils I used.
