10.0Das Apartment ist in einer untouristischen Gegend von Istanbul. Wir haben uns jeder Zeit sicher gefühlt. Busanbindung ist gut, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten auch. Die Ausstattung ist gut, alles da, was man braucht. Sauberkeit top!
− Kein Nachteil, nur eine Info: Mittwochs ist in Fatih Markttag. Auf keinen Fall als Ab- oder Anreisetag wählen. Das Apartment ist dann quasi von der Aussenwelt abgeschnitten.

Amazing apartment for a stay at one of the oldest areas of Istanbul
10.0The name of the apartment speaks for itself. It was really excellent. It’s spacious, clean and it has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. I liked that there were little things that make a difference: a lot of storage, so we could unpack, put the suitcases away and actually live in this space during our stay, shelves and hooks in the bathroom, enough plates and cutlery in the kitchen etc. Communication with the host was amazing: quick to respond, gave us useful tips, answered all my questions. We needed a cot for our toddler and we got it with the most adorable bedding and a blanket; we needed two sets of keys and we got them. These little (and big) things were what made the stay enjoyable. There was an earthquake during our stay and what calmed us down was to know that the building is new (around 10 years old, I think). It’s not something one often thinks about but it was reassuring to know. The area is not touristy at all and it was actually amazing and different. We could get to more touristy parts easily when we wanted to but living among regular people who just live their lives there was an experience we wouldn’t have gotten have we stayed at a hotel in the middle of a touristy area.
− I don’t think there is anything really that I could think about. One curtain in one of the bedrooms was a bit short, so some of the street light came through at night. And sometimes when we were cooking we thought it would have been nice to have a strainer (we didn’t ask for it though. I’m sure if we did we would have gotten that too). That’s really all I could think of if I have to scrape my mind to find negatives. It’s really a great apartment.
