No sympathy for a medical emergency - stay away!

The property was clean, the housekeeping staff was very helpful and kind.

− 1/5 stars We checked in during a normal summer week and the room was unbearably, dangerously hot — noticeably hotter than the hallway and hotter than it was outside. Within 25 minutes my wife, who has severe asthma, was struggling to breathe. Staff gave us a fan, which did nothing. We asked twice — in person and by phone — to be moved to a lower, courtyard-facing room, and were told nothing was available. My wife then had a second, more severe asthma attack, and I began feeling faint and nauseous myself. We had no choice but to leave after two and a half hours and pay out of pocket for a different hotel the same afternoon. We documented everything in real time: messages to the property, calls to family, weather records. Despite this, after weeks of correspondence, the property refunded a token 10% refund (£80) and refused to cover any more (despite attempting to re rent the room), then stopped responding to follow-ups entirely, including a detailed, evidence-backed request they have now ignored for a full business week. We have even offered a reasonable compromise on the refund, and have been treated with nothing but disrespect and silence. If you have any risk of a medical emergency, any respiratory condition, any heat sensitivity, or any concern you could be injured or become seriously unwell, stay away from this property. Their response to a guest in visible medical distress was to hand over a fan and walk away. This is a property that values profits over guest safety, and their handling of our situation, and of our refund request afterward, makes that clear.

Good location and facilities. Better communication required to co-ordinate apartment preparation with arrival time!

− Although we stated our time of arrival as requested our room was still being prepared when we arrived. It should have been ready!

Convenient location very easy to check in

− It was particularly warm, but there was a decent fan. The bed wasn’t overly comfortable but fine for one night.

Everything you need, but beware if you are sensitive to noise

The location was great and the room had everything we needed.

− We could hear a lot of noise from the other residents. I got around this by sleeping with earplugs in.

Good location close to the tube station and couple shopping centres within walking distance and plenty of shops etc nearby

− Could’ve done with a fresh lick of paint few scuffs on the walls and stuff but for the price you pay can’t really complain
