− We were first checked into a room that was dirty with unwashed carpet. When we complained our room was changed to a very clean room

− No bar facilities but were offered complimentary soft drinks and fruit
It was mostly good. Having A/C was great in that heat. But my room was so tiny I couldn't even have friends over
8.0The building has a nice atmosphere about it. It's 130 years old. The room was clean and the shower was pretty good.
− The location was a big problem for me. I didn't realize it was so far from the tube, my preferred mode of travel. I ended up riding and waiting for the buses much too much. At least the bus stops are right there. But they're extremely unreliable timetable wise. Also, in some of the mornings, a door would slam shut again and again. I can't imagine what it could be, but I honestly don't understand hotels that don't invest in quiet closing mechanisms.
