Great Stay at Novotel Blackfriars.

We stayed at the Novotel and Blackfriars for the first time on our midweek break to London. We usually stay in the Blackfriars area as there’s east access to the tube, and there are lots of places to have dinner in walking distance. We usually stay at the Hibis next door but this time decided on the Novotel and we booked to have breakfast which we don’t normally do. Our welcome to the hotel was friendly and polite and we were given all the information about the hotel we needed. The room was spacious and lovely and clean and the room was well decorated and fresh. The bathroom had a great shower and the bed was very comfortable. We had no noise disturbances during the night which meant we slept well. There was complementary water in the room with coffee and tea making facilities and complementary biscuits. My wife used the swimming pool which she enjoyed. You have to book the swimming through reception. We drank in the bar and had snacks which were delicious. The breakfast on offer was very good with a huge selection of different foods that would please everyone. Their plain yogurt was very good. The restaurant was well staffed and clean. I had a continental breakfast and had some of the hummus which was delicious. All of the staff at the restaurant and bar were very friendly and helpful, and food items were replenished before they ran out so no one was disappointed. We will definitely use this hotel again as the whole experience was very good, and we would also book to have breakfast again as you couldn’t fault it.

I hate this venue… they have set the bar too high and when I use other venues… I’m just disappointed 😅. The team here are wonderful. If you need to hold a meeting in a professional space which is well looked after by a friendly and helpful team, this is where you need to be. I use many different venues and nowhere compares!

Albergo situato in una posizione eccellente a circa 50 metri dalla fermata metro di Southwark e 500 metri da quella di Blackfriars. Personale molto disponibile. Hall molto ben curata. Stanza nella media, dimensioni giuste per tre persone. Letti comodi. Insonorizzata. Cassaforte, frigobar con acqua gratis. Bollitore con alcune bevande gratis. Ferro da stiro e asse da stiro. TV digitale. Servizio in camera. Bagno di grandi dimensioni. Colazione continentale ottima. Servizio palestra e piscina gratis da prenotare per un ora al giorno. All'ingresso totem per prenotazione Uber e affitto ombrelli anche se non lo abbiamo utilizzato. Servizio deposito bagagli gratis il giorno del chek out. Nel complesso un ottimo Hotel.

− Il bagno era separato dalla stanza da una vetrata opaca, quindi se la notte o la mattina presto bisogna andare in bagno accendendo la luce si illumina tutta la camera da letto fuori con grosso fastidio per chi sta ancora dormendo. Andrebbe messa una piccola luce di servizio nel bagno o eliminare la vetrata. La piscina è molto fredda tenendo conto che è al chiuso, andrebbe riscaladata l'acqua di parecchio. Colazione molto abbondante anche se sempre uguale. Pulizie in camera molto presto la mattina addirittura mentre facevamo colazione ed anche senza averle richieste. Pulizia della moquette della camera e delle zone comuni da migliore. Tutti problemi però di poco conto, un cosiglio per migliorare sempre di più.

magnifique petit déjeuner très varié.. le personnel très serviable et à l'écoute.. la chambre et la salle de bain parfait .. très grande smartélé. la piscine et le sauna super top

− le seul défaut , c'est qu'il y avait des taches sur les housses de couette qui étaient propre et lavé, mais cela semblait être des taches qui ne partent pas au lavage.
