Awful. Worst hostel experience I’ve had. My bed was missing a comforter when I arrived. The front desk didn’t believe me and spoke to me incredibly rudely before finally agreeing to send house keeping. The room was loud and smelled like smoke. They have you use metal cages as drawers in the room, which make a loud racket when opened and closed (particularly disturbing throughout the night). And my keycard suddenly didn’t work when I got home one night. I went down to ask about it and the front desk person seemed absolutely annoyed to have to deal with such an unreasonable request. If you book a bed at this hostel, I think their system marks you not as a Guest but as an Inconvenience. On the positive side, though, Eva was awesome. Kind and helpful!

Disappointing Refund Process – Still Waiting After 15 Days

​I had to cancel my fully refundable and with the cancelation free period, stay at St. Christopher's Inn Gare du Nord in late January, and while the cancellation was confirmed promptly, the refund process has been frustratingly slow. It has been over 15 working days since my cancellation (Ref: STC-GDN-41793118), and I am still waiting for the Stripe receipt or any concrete proof that the funds have been released. ​While the automated support is polite, the lack of a "human" update on my money is concerning. I chose this hostel for its reputation, but this delay is disappointing for a frequent traveler. I hope the management sees this and expedites the process. I will update this review once the matter is resolved

Aperol night was fun I had really great time with making my own Aperol and meet with new peapole while visiting this city.

This was an amazing fun experience. We had the aperol class with other hostel members. Sam was a very nice instructor and was very hospitable

Employees are nice and the rooms are clean, beds are comfy and the bathrooms are very clean. Bar is very nice, and the bar staff are very friendly

Horrible Experience From Start to Finish

This stay was absolutely horrible. When we arrived, there were already more than 20 people crowded into the lobby, all dealing with different issues. We ended up waiting over three hours just to speak with the single overwhelmed employee at the front desk. During that time, we met another guest who had paid for a room and went to check in—only to find a stranger already sleeping in his bed. He had been waiting nearly four hours for the staff to sort it out, with no resolution in sight. While we stood in line, at least 20 more people came in with additional problems—overbooked rooms, beds already taken, and reservation issues that seemed completely out of control. Nothing was managed, nothing was communicated, and the situation only got worse as the night went on. We arrived around midnight and didn’t get any help until about 2:30 AM, and that was just to finally speak to someone. The entire experience was chaotic, exhausting, and incredibly mismanaged. I would not recommend staying here to anyone.
