Place is hidden away from busy streets. There is plenty convenient stores near by. We have a good rest there after our journey from UK.

− Walk to train the nearest train station is about 15min with the luggage, but we knew this before booking so we are generally happy about this place.

C’était la toutes première fois que nous dormions sur futon et ca c'est très bien passe. L’établissement dans un esprit de ryokan a du charme, la chambre est petite et plaisante couverte de tatamis. Quartier très calme. Le personnel est disponible, aux petits soins et très gentil. Nous avons pu profiter d'un cours de calligraphie donné dans l’hôtel.

Belle immersion avec un personnel magique

Le personnel était adorable. La décoration, le style japonais permettent vraiment une belle immersion. La chambre ne m’a pas paru trop petite.

− C’est très personnel mais j’avais mal au dos donc le lit futon c’était une belle expérience mais pas la plus confortable. Le personnel m’a fourni un second matelas, ce qui était beaucoup mieux.

Nice, simple, safe place to stay in Tokyo

The Staff there are great! Likeable, kind. We had just come from an Arima onsen hotel, and were spoiled by the spaciousness there. Despite having a small room for 3 people, we ended up enjoying some good sleep on our double futons, and having a safe, "home base" to return to each day. Good water pressure in the shower stall, hot water came out easily. Convenient stores are not too far away, at all - easy to get snacks or a quick breakfast there.

− TV was on floor (hard for all of us to view at the same time), beside fridge. Fridge kept freezing the items we placed inside, even though we asked staff to look into the fridge. Most of the other people staying there were non-Japanese. Lots of English being used, which will suit many out there, but I was back in Japan to further my Japanese. I wished it felt more Japanese to be there. If I had started our trip to Japan, I think that would have been a better fit for this place.

We slept in the traditional room (on a futton). It was not super comfortable at first, but you can ask to get extra ones, so in the end we slept really well. Rooms are not very big but enough to rest. The location is very good to either walk to some places or catch the train. Breakfast was quite nice. Staff was nice and helpful. Everything was very clean. There are umbrellas at the door to borrow when you go out and return when you come back. There is laundry service at a very good price.

Super hotel dans un esprit de ryokan. L'emplacement est idéal, le quartier est calme mais on peut accéder à pied à différents sites d'intérêt. Le personnel est disponible et agréable. Nous avons apprécié les bains chaud le soir après nos longues journées de visites! Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir !
