Pre-cruise visit to London
10.0Given heat issues in London and Western Europe, we wanted a hotel w/ good AC and had read about some places w/ only fans, which pushed hot air around. Cheval Three Quays is more of a short-term apartment than a hotel, but it met our need perfectly. We booked the prior night, to have immediate room access upon early a.m. arrival. Room was ready and included a nice bottle of wine. It overlooked the London Tower complex and was a 3-minute walk from the dock for a lunch cruise on the Thames. Nearby are some very nice restaurants, which seemed to be frequented by locals. At one, we got some delicious take-out and went back to our room to enjoy w/ the gratis bottle of wine. Next morning, we got a very nice breakfast at another nearby restaurant. Without question, we'd come back to this hotel!

− Was disappointed that our room did not have a clear view of Tower Bridge. We were facing the Thames but were under the impression when we booked that we would have a view of the Bridge but it was obstructed by other portions of the building.

The cleaning service is available 7 times a week.
