− Möglet på toalettväggen drog ned betyget, luktade och syntes med ludd. Mycket ljud från gatan på nätterna (tåg och bilar). Men fanns öronproppar. Mycket lyhört.

10.0Excellent location. Remember to take the south exit from Shimbamba station and the house will be just on the right down the street. The house exceeded our expectations and the hosts were exceptional. Breakfast was amazing as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were a family of 5 (2 children and 1 baby)

10.0We three friends from the United States had an absolutely fabulous time staying at the Bamba Hotel during our visit to Tokyo in May of 2026. The Bamba Hotel is actually a delightful townhouse for rent in a pleasant Tokyo neighborhood with very convenient access to the Shambamba subway station. This comfortable and quirky space was cleverly equipped with a surprisingly wide range of amenities. Breakfast was delivered each morning by friendly and considerate staff who also provided helpful advice on sites to see and restaurants to try. The staff were easy to communicate with and struck a nice balance between attentiveness and allowing us sufficient privacy during our four-night stay. We enthusiastically recommend the Bamba Hotel as your pleasant temporary home in Tokyo.
− Road noise was a little problem in the front bedroom but the 4 sets of window shutters really helped dampen the sound.

10.0All the charm truly made it feel like a home away from home. Great location, right next to the station but in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood. Our teenage kids felt very comfortable.

10.0The house brings you back in time and offers you a unique experience to live Tokyo in a less touristic way. Be prepared to leave western expectations behind yet having the opportunity to communicate with a great staff in English at any point in time. They offer options for Japanese and western breakfast which is good if you travel to other kids. The neighborhood is not a touristic one and you are literally 1 min away from train station so you can enjoy the local atmosphere or going downtown as you please. Really a great stay!
