Disappointing stay

Let me begin my saying this is an old hotel, however, the pool was clean at all times. If I had kids then my opinion would probably be less harsh. Situated on the riverside I enjoyed watching the happenings on the river.

− Old out dated property. The first room I was given smelt mouldy and the air conditioner did not work. In the second room the toilet leaver became stuck and the plumber was called. The breakfast food was the worse I’ve eaten in Thailand. The location was 25 minutes walk from the closest Metro station so not convenient. As a single traveller this hotel did not meet my requirements. Previous reviews did not reflect my experience. There are thousands of hotels in BBK so look closely at reviews.

Prima hotel op een goede plek in het centrum.

Prima ontbijt aan de rivier waar veel grote boten voorbijvaren. Uitzicht vanuit onze kamer op de rivier en de nabijheid van het centrum met cafeetjes en Kaosan Road (als je dat leuk vindt)

− Onze kamer had een wifistoring. De receptiemedewerkers wisten dit blijkbaar al, maar hebben toch deze kamer voor ons geboekt waardoor we moesten verhuizen. Was niet nodig geweest als zij direct een goede kamer hadden gekozen.

Gutes Mittelklassehotel

Einfach aber sauber, die Zimmer und das Bad sahen eigentlich neuwertig aus, die Armaturen jedoch alt. Wir waren 5 Nächte und das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich. Einfach aber gut, schön fand ich auch, dass die Speisen nicht den Touristen angepasst wurden. Also was scharf sein soll, war auch scharf. In der Nähe mehrere 7/11 und auch Möglichkeiten um etwas zu essen. Das Pier ist auch 5 Minuten entfernt. Es war sehr ruhig in der Nacht, Aircon kann reguliert werden. Wer ein günstiges Hotel in guter Lage (Familien) sucht, wird hier sicher fündig.

− Eigentlich war alles ok, unsere Toilette funktionierte nicht richtig. Wenn man den Trick erstmal rausgefunden hatte, war es aber ok. Trotzdem konnte der Mangel nicht vom Hotel behoben werden. Da wir zwei Zimmer mit Verbindungstüre hatte, war ein Zimmertausch schwierig und wurde uns auch nicht angeboten. Die nervigen Taxifahrer vor dem Eingang waren ein tägliches Spiel. Da wir, wie die meisten Touristen, nur mit Grab unterwegs waren, fragten sie trotzdem täglich ob wir nicht doch ein Taxi brauchen, wo geht’s hin usw. Ist jetzt vielleicht nicht die Schuld vom Hotel aber es nervt etwas. In ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss ist man in der Soi Rambuttri mit allen Vor- und Nachteilen. Für Erwachsene solo, die im Idealfall auch gerne was rauchen wahrscheinlich ein Paradies. Für Familien mit Kindern ist es eher kontraproduktiv durch das Grasgewabbere hindurch zu schlendern, das Essen , zumindest im Frog pound eine Katastrophe.

− Gotta say my pillow wasn't particularly comfie but not much else in the room to complain about - perhaps - Maybe inflexibility about late check out, and reluctance to give more than one room key so room continuously heated up when you went out

We absolutely loved the location and the view was nothing short of amazing. The house itself was generally good, and we had a great time exploring the area.

− We booked for 7 adults, but one of the rooms had a small kids' bunk bed that was completely unsuitable for grown-ups. The mattresses were very thin and the structure felt flimsy and lightweight. We brought this to the staff’s attention, but they didn't do anything to resolve it, simply claiming they had no alternatives. Advice to the owner: Please don't accept bookings for this number of adults if you're going to give them children's bunk beds. Either swap them out for two proper single beds, or be upfront about the bed sizes before people book. Unprofessional Communication: While we were on our way to the property by taxi, I received around 20–30 messages from the host asking me to cancel my booking.com reservation and pay them directly in cash for a cheaper rate. I found this incredibly annoying and unprofessional. I refused because if I cancelled, I would have incurred cancellation fees with zero guarantee they would keep their word. Eventually, I just stopped reading their messages. Noise Issues: There was also very loud noise coming from a neighboring property next door, starting early every morning. This really disrupted our relaxation. If you are advertising to families who want a peaceful getaway, this external noise should absolutely be mentioned in the listing beforehand. The location and views are 5-star, but the uncomfortable beds, spammy messages, and early-morning noise made parts of the stay frustrating. I wouldn't rush to book here again unless these issues are fixed.
