Perfect location for being close to things, but not in a loud area. Room was very comfortable, safe, clean and had great amenities for an American!

− I wish there had been luggage storage. I was a little confused by there being no front desk person there all the time (I think it's european to not do that) so wasn't sure how to check out, where to put the key, etc. Even though I was leaving at the check out time the day of my departure. It was really hard to get to the hotel, I'd never been to venice before so I didn't realize that you take a boat to the closest area and then we had to walk 20 mins in 90degree humid heat to get to the hotel, many steps and stairs to navigate. Not the hotel's fault, but worth knowing beforehand.

Das Zimmer ist in Ordnung und leise, das Hotel ist gut gelegen und das Bett ist bequem. Damit hören sie positiven Sachen schon auf…

− Leider war die erste Begegnung ein Vorwurf das wir zu früh da sind… das war uns auch bewusst, aber wir wollten auch noch gar nicht aufs Zimmer sondern nur die Taschen abstellen… das ging gerade so. Bei der ersten Durchsicht viel leider auf, dass das Zimmer überhaupt nicht richtig gereinigt wurde. Im Badezimmer klebten Haare von anderen Frauen, die Ecken waren dreckig und es lagen vereinzelt tote Insekten rum. Das bringt uns zum nächsten Problem: wir haben ein Ameisen Problem im Zimmer gehabt und sofort der Rezeption geschrieben. Wir wurden ignoriert sodass wir uns an booking Wenden mussten. Auch booking konnte nichts bewirken sodass wir 30€ Nachlass für eine nächste Buchung bekommen haben. Die Unterkunft hat uns lediglich ein Ameisenspray zukommen lassen und meinte damit ist es erledigt. Obwohl es ein Hotel ist, gibt es keine Zimmerreinigung - somit blieben wir auf dem Ameisen Friedhof sitzen und um die verdreckte Dusche mit den fremden Haaren mussten wir uns ebenfalls selber kümmern - klasse „Hotel“. Genauso gut, hätten wir uns auch eine Apartment mieten können, denn der Service, den man bei einem Hotel haben sollte, fehlte ohne Ausnahme. Keine frischen Handtücher, kein täglich gemachtes Bett, kein Mülleimer entleeren, nichts… Beim Check out wurden wir pünktlichst an der Tür abgeholt und ich meinte wir ziehen uns die Schuhe an. Daraufhin wurde uns gleich auf Italienisch mit Camera und Polizei gedroht… wir sind also schnell raus und froh, dass wir nicht noch länger bleiben müssen. Grüße aus Venedig und KEINE Empfehlung

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bianca Ducale. The hotel offers excellent value for money. The nightly rate felt fair, especially considering its location in a quieter part of Venice while still being just a short walk from all the main attractions. Check-in and check-out were extremely efficient, as everything can be completed online. Communication with the staff was seamless, prompt, and straightforward throughout my stay. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It also had a charming historic character that complemented the atmosphere of Venice perfectly. The staff truly stood out. Their customer service was exceptional, they were welcoming, knowledgeable, and always happy to recommend restaurants, attractions, and local tips. They played a significant part in making my trip so enjoyable. Before I left, they also mentioned that they would soon be offering guided tours for guests, which sounds like a great addition. Overall, I would happily stay at Bianca Ducale again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a boutique hotel that combines character, convenience, and outstanding hospitality in Venice.
