10.0If you are looking for a true NYC experience in the heart of the extraordinary West Village neighborhood then this is the place! The rooms were clean and quaint, and our bed was very comfortable! Our son lived a couple blocks away, so this was perfect to be so close to him. Restaurants, pubs, shopping, subway stations, parks, and the river were all in close walking distance. We loved the inconspicuousness of the hotel. Made for an even more delightful stay. Looking forward to the next time!
Friendly place to stay!
10.0My husband and I stayed for 5 nights at this adorable historic tiny hotel in the Maine room. There is very easy access via the subway. It is in a quaint neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, bars and cute shops. The room faces the street, so as expected in NYC there is some street noise. The tall windows and skylight keep it bright. Having a separate kitchenette made the room feel more spacious. Daily service kept the room fresh and clean. The staff was great. Special shout out to Vincent who let us check in early and also check out late. Way better than staying at a non-descript chain hotel.
Wow! And absolute treat
10.0Had a lovely time here! Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating to our needs. They exceeded expectations! The place is so charming as is the surrounding neighborhoods. The beds are slightly creaky but this is to be expected, still very comfortable. The bathrooms, specifically the showers were great! No vents so I recommend opening a window if possible. Room was clean, and turned over daily with new sheets/towels/etc. my only note is the manager could be a bit more gracious to the staff, who were kind and lovely. Will absolutely return!
Great location in the West Village
8.0Nice little place, great location in the heart of the West Village. Staff is very kind and helpful. Stairs are a bit funky. We've stayed here before - liked the Washington suite and Garden Suite especially.
Two nightmare nights at the Incentra Village Guest House
2.0Stayed at the Incentra Village Guest House for two night while I was visiting my daughter in NYC. The location was attractive and convenient for me but the facility/room was not anywhere what I expected. Didn't sleep for two nights because of the bed. Two foam mattresses didn't give me any back support and I weigh only 160lbs. The cleanliness was also not what should be expected for a room charge of $600 plus per night. The worst hotel room I ever stayed in during my many visits to NYC.
Location, Location, lo-SERVICE!
10.0Location, charm, service and issue resolution. We loved our stay. Normally, we love, modern hotels with fitness centers, but when you have the opportunity to stay on the same corner as Corner Bistro in the village, it was a no-brainer. And when a heat wave hit in late September and the air conditioning didn't work immediately, Wynn and the property manager offered to do whatever they could do to make it right including fans, a refund. I'm so glad we stayed - they installed a new A/C in the window within an hour! we will absolutely stay again and again, and recommend to all of our friends. Great vibe, great value, clean and quiet. Great VALUE.
