2.0The room had no heat in the mixed room and the bathrooms were filthy.

8.0Excellent location for shops, transport and the park for a walk. The staff I met were very nice and helpful. The social area was great with lots of room etc. and the facilities in/for the dorms were good. I wish there were notices (on the walls or on the paperwork), however, asking people to be considerate of others. Playing games on telephones/eating noisily are no fun for others at well past midnight when you're trying to sleep. It's bad enough with snorers!

8.0PHOTO ID REQUIRED - not stated until arrival. This is a hostel and we were required to provide photo ID (passport/driving license) on arrival which were NOT stated in any hotels.com literature provided. Usually in the UK you are never required to carry these documents but luckily we had passport photocopies available on email on our phones. Staff were fine, location was great, room was noisy as underneath a multi-occupancy hostel room with people arriving and clomping about until all-hours.
