This is a youth hostel
6.0This is not a regular hotel. It is a youth hostel. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, only a few minutes walk from the Gare du Nord. And the hotel's locker room is very practical. On the negative side, there is a smoking patio right by the entrance and you have no choice but to go through it to get in. Worse, there is a dance club of some kind really close by, and you will hear/feel the bass until 2.30 am. Rooms are decent, but be aware, if you have children, you will not be allowed to stay in a room without attached bathroom. There is no guarantee one will be free if you did not book it yourself.
