1.0− Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. As soon as we entered our room, we were hit by a strong musty smell. I am allergic to mold, so throughout our stay I suffered from a constant rash and a runny nose. We asked to change rooms, but only one other room was available. We were given the key to check it, and unfortunately it had exactly the same problem. Even the hallway smelled strongly of mold. The room windows cannot be opened, so there is no way to air out the room, making the smell unbearable. Towels and swimwear never dried because of the dampness. The carpets were dirty and had an unpleasant odor. Upon check-in, the hotel charged a $200 security deposit. This was never mentioned anywhere during the Booking.com reservation process. We have been told it may take up to 14 days for the money to be returned, meaning our funds are unnecessarily frozen. Overall, this hotel is absolutely not worth the price. We would not recommend it to anyone.
