Hostel is perfect for me

Excellent location on Yamamoto line near station. Easy access from both airports. My second stay and going back again. For affordable and accommodation hostel this is my favourite hostel in Tokyo. Clean with bathroom self contained in girls dorm.

− Lift was broken . Futon a tard too thin but I did sleep well. Pillow could be more comfy.

上段が階段。調理する家電あり。付近にコインランドリー、銭湯あり。ウェルカムドリンクあり。充実している。海外の泊まり客もフレンドリー。

− 全体古いので床に足音が響く。USB対応のコンセントがない。

住在混合的房型，床位為上層，剛好有個小平台可以攤開小型的行李箱。雖然擔心翻身的時候會吵到下舖的人，但大致上還算舒適。旅館的隔壁就是錢湯，所以可以舒服的體驗日本湯屋後再回旅館休息，一樓大廳有提供茶水，也可以買外面的食物在大廳用餐。

The property was great! Nothing to complain about.

− It’s the young & impolite staff that I encountered on this July trip. This was my 2nd stay after one in March this year. That trip left me impressed as the staff were cheerful & greeted you throughout my stay. This trip I noticed a change in disposition overall but nothing too unpleasant until the day I checked out. I had overslept past 10am checkout time till a friendly cleaner staff awakened me at 1010am. After a quick wash up, I promptly went down to the counter to check out & gladly paid the extra 500yen for the time exceeded. However this particular counter girl staff in her 20s was rude & unpleasant to deal with from the first interaction. She asked for the room card in a frustrated manner & told me my room number is not 202. When she had misheard me saying it’s 203. Zero smiles, 100% unfriendly expression as if she didn’t think much of a guest. I then spent my remaining time in the lobby packing my suitcases. As the lobby closes at 1230 daily for cleaning , I was mindful not to use the tables as I went about my remaining packing. At one point she then came over n told me to hurry up as the lobby was closed. I assured her it will be over soon. Throughout our exchange, I maintained a cool disposition & acceded as much as I can to her instructions. I would have happily gone out of the lobby to pack if she requested honestly. But it’s the curt & frustrated tone in which she conveyed the message. To me, the lobby was still open for guests’ passage, just not the chairs & tables for usage. The final straw was when I was lugging my 25kg suitcases out. I was in the midst of lugging the 2nd one when she came out from the desk & asked to keep the door closed. I explained I’m in the middle of moving the luggage. She closed the door anyways & I had to reopen 2 sec later. The only time I displayed my displeasure was after I had moved out all my 3 suitcases.
