The location

− Massive bedbug infestation ruining our entire break. Also the room had a bad smell and was hard to access via 4 flights of stairs. The worst part was the bedbugs having woken up with this at 3am then having to pack and leave as soon as it was light with a distraught child.

It’s just close to Earl’s Court station. The only good thing about the hotel

− Have bed bug bites all over my body. Not so clean. Staff wasn’t helpful. I was put in a room in the basement and had no air circulation. Windows wouldn’t open. No fan or air conditioning. I was not able to connect to WiFi in the room so asked them to change the room. The host was very rude about it but I got my room changed.

Location - good links to public transport. Not far from food / supermarket

− The room was not as shown in pictures. We were right at the top of the property, really hot even with a fan. Room was clean but in need of update...shower did not look appealing and broken/loose tiles.

− No bathmat or hand towel was provided. No air con but fan provided. One of the Electrical sockets not functioning. Shower cubicle was so small it was difficult to to get washed. Mattress too soft

Absolutely nothing

− I want to be clear about the most important part first: I was bitten by bed bugs in this room. I woke up covered in bites across my arms, legs, and back, and they kept appearing every night I stayed. That is not bad luck. That is a room that has not been properly cleaned, inspected, or treated, and it means the mattress and bedding are infested. Anyone booking here should know they are risking bringing an infestation home in their luggage. The cleanliness standard is the worst I have encountered anywhere, and the fact that a room in this condition is still being rented out to paying guests says everything about how this place is run. Beyond that, almost nothing matched what was advertised. The room looked nothing like the photos on the listing, and those pictures are misleading to the point of being dishonest. There was no air conditioning at all, and the room was unbearably hot day and night, which made sleeping impossible even before the bites started. The room is on the fourth floor and there is no elevator, so every arrival, departure, and trip out means hauling luggage up and down four flights of stairs. Staff availability is another problem. If you need anything at all, you can only get it between 3pm and 8pm. Outside that window nobody answers, nobody comes, and you are completely on your own. Overheated, misrepresented, physically exhausting to access, unstaffed for most of the day, and infested. Book somewhere else.
