Live like a local in Ekkamai♡

Wonderful option if staying in Ekkamai

The room is spacious, cosy, lots of places to sit/sleep/lounge, it even had a washing machine! vit is very conveniently located just few steps away from the Ekkamai station & mall, with plenty of shopping and food options, and easy access to transportation. We were able to find it easily, thanks to the guidance sent to us by the property.

− As a minor inconvenience - if you have heavy luggage - you need to carry it upstairs/downstairs. Also, the place smelled heavily of cats. And there were cats in the building or visiting at the balcony. It was not expected and we’d love to know about it prior to making a booking.

Very convenient location. Supplied the comforts needed, bed was very comfortable.

− Pay close attention to the door instructions. It can be a little bit confusing. Would’ve been nice to have a few more coffees on hand, but there’s a 7-Eleven right around the corner.

C’était très propre et confortable. Tout l’équipement nécessaire était à disposition pour rester quelques jours à Bangkok. Le quartier est calme et le logement peu bruyant puisqu’il est dans une impasse juste derrière la route principale. Très proche du BTS aérien, il y a quelques restaurants et bars proches très sympas (environ 15 minutes de marche) Arrivée et départ autonome, la communication avec l’hôte a été très bonne. Nous avons reçus toutes les indications en avance (et même des vidéos par WhatsApp pour expliquer comment entrer dans l’immeuble !)

− Le quartier est un peu loin des lieux de visites. Il faut compter 45 minutes en transport et 30minutes en taxi (selon la circulation).

Reasonably good price

− The locking system of the entrance door did not work and I couldn't open the door when I arrived at the apartment. I tried to unlock many times as instracted correctly, but the door was unlocked. Finally big alert sounded, and the residents in the apartment came down to the entrance door, and opened the door. They were very kind, and they figured out it was the low battery of the locking system, contacting with the manager or owner of the apartment. The point is the host manager is not in Bangkok , not coping with the possible troubles. I was lucky because I reached the apartment in the daytime. It would have been terrablly scare if I had reached late at night.
