Clean, quiet, convenient lovely stay
10.0Lovely 4 night stay at Relais & Maison Grand Tour in Florence, Italy. The staff and owner could not have been more helpful. After we made reservations our flights changed, bringing us to Florence a day early. While our Diva Suite was not available that night, they offered up another room, the Cantate Suite. Both rooms were quiet, comfortable and clean. We did not opt for the breakfast vouchers, but there were plenty of options in the area. We enjoyed several meals at Mercato Centrale, breakfasts and a quick dinner our first night in town. Plenty of restaurant options in the area. Very close walks to Accademia, Duomo, close to transportation. A little bit of a hike to Pitti/Boboli and Santa Croce areas, but easy enough to take your time and enjoy the sights along the way. My husband was either pickpocketed or dropped his wallet on the way to Scoula del Cuoio, luckily nothing too valuable in it, but we did have to cancel a few credit cards. The staff was very helpful in directing us how to report it and all showed great concern. My husband learned his lesson - he used the neck wallet I'd bought for him the rest of the trip. Also, seemingly everyone accepts tap to pay, so you really don't need much more than your phone. Florence is a gem, and your stay at Relais & Maison will make you feel almost like a local - or wish you were.
Perfect location
10.0Our family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights. Having 2 teenagers it was great to have extra space. Hotel is close to everything. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this place for your next stay in Florence.

Great hidden gem not too far from everything you want to see
10.0The location is amazing, but it is also a gorgeous little room! Rooms are pretty big for European standards and have everything you need in them. The staff are very helpful and happy. Could not recommend this place more!!
a welcoming, charming and unique nest
8.0Relais & Maison Grand Tour is very well located in a quiet street, just off the Piazza del Mercato Centrale well worth a visit for all the Tuscany delicacies. In addition, a secured parking is just 2 mn away with negotiated tariffs when you are a guest of this B&B. We had a very warm welcome by 2 ladies (Satya & can't remember the name of the other, my apologies) into this charming oasis of peace and carefully curated decoration. I recommend you go to ZaZa, the famous restaurant on the Piazza del Mercato Centrale (started in 1977), skip the queue (that never diminishes from 6h30pm) to book for the next day, to enjoy delicious food at very reasonable prices. Ulrike, the owner of the B&B that we didn't have the pleasure to meet, has put great thoughts and efforts into making her place a welcoming, charming and unique nest.
Quiet comfortable and close to everything
10.0Location was fantastic; just a ten minute walk from train station and then 5-10 minutes to San Marco church or Accademia. About 15 min to Duomo. Very quiet and comfortable with air conditioning. Hosts were super helpful with recommendations for meals and sights. Breakfast was included at local cafe.
