Excellent Authentic Hotel with Superb Staff
9.0Beautifully appointed hotel in a fantastic location. Walking distance to all the major sites in Florence. The rooms were generously sized compared to others we’ve stayed in, in Italy. We ate in the restaurant on two nights and the food was excellent. Breakfast had a nice selection and was of good quality. The highlight of our stay was the incredible staff. From reception, to the restaurant staff at dinner, manager greeting us at breakfast and staff servicing the pool - the entire team was friendly and helpful. It really made the trip memorable.
− Possibly have more shaded beds at the pool, given the heat in August.

10.0This was as nice a hotel as I could have asked for. The staff were super attentive and so understanding of those who don't speak much Italian. Special mention of Roberto in the roof top restaurant. He is a true asset to the hotel and soon friendly.

9.0Great hotel overall. Style is somewhat old-fashioned, just a matter of personal taste. Rooms were good and clean. AC was dealing well with the mid-July heat. The pool is great no matter how small it is. Shoes are recommended as the stones on the rooftop can get pretty hot. Location: quite good in general. Especially good if you travel by train or car. The parking is a modern underground garage which fits also bigger cars easily and is just 5 mins walk away. Most sites of tourist interest are 20-30 mins walk away. The area is quite and walkable also at night. Lovely staff as well, would certainly stay there again.

10.0What an amazing hotel in Florence. We had a large room with 1 large double and 2 single sofa beds for the kids (aged 21 & 19) very large bathroom and a balcony. The swimming pool on the roof with plenty of sun loungers was perfect in the afternoon after a days visiting Florence, the centre is about a 13 min walk. Great rooftop bar. Great breakfast and very friendly staff. A safe area to stay too.
